Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
We had to cancel our trip to China with Viking because I experienced a medical problem. We filed a claim for the cancellation costs with Seven Corners. We waited four weeks and when we didn't hear from them, called the office. We were told they had sent a letter requesting additional information, but we never received the letter. Once we sent the additional paperwork, Seven Corners paid the cancellation fee within a month, which was within their projected time frame. I would recommend Seven Corners, but sent all my correspondence via certified mail to make sure they received it and the date.
I would always recommend a travel policy. Having a travel policy paid off for me when my husband suffered a heart attack prior to our planned cruise. Was so thankful that he is okay and that our cruise money wasn't wasted.
I called with a question, but it was July 4th weekend. I was not able to get an answer.
Technically, you all were right, but my trip delay was 2 hours and 52 minutes, 8 minutes shy of your required 3 hours. I would have been much more impressed with partial compensation, a nicer letter, nicer rep on the phone. So, no, even though I have myself and 5 other members of a family going on an expensive cruise, I can't see myself recommending your travel insurance.
Purchased this policy for the cancel for any reason coverage. Didn't have to use it. Didn't file a claim. Received all of the necessary documents in a timely manner.
I had to send claim to Medicare & got the denial & now waiting for our secondary to respond & then will send to you or fax. After I get through all the hoops you may contact me.
Would not recommend this policy to others as I was not satisfied with the results so far
Initial trip deposit was made 11 months prior to the trip. Insurance was purchased 5 months prior to the trip. Clause states insurance must be purchased within 21 days of initial deposit. This does not make sense. The insurance is for the period after the insurance is purchased. The trip was cancelled by the travel agent we booked through, and has now claimed bankruptcy, so therefore, I am not covered, and no consideration was given for any part of this trip. I would not use Seven Corners again.
Long wait time on phone
We filed our Initial claim on May 9th and just deposited the claim check today July 14th. Then length of time it took to settle the claim was much longer than we feel necessary. We provided all required information asked for including some that was asked for twice.
We are sorry but we will not be using your company again nor can I recommend you to our fellow travelers.
