Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
Your representatives were also professional and helpful and answered all of my questions. I felt the claim was handled well.
We were really unhappy with Seven Corners. We chose them because they seemed to be fairly priced and at that time had overall average to good ratings. However, we found out that they are actually really poor at customer service. We had a travel delay claim, which we had to jump through so many hoops just to process. Initially the paperwork said file a claim online, so we went online, where it said the claim had to be filed by phone, so we called them and they said we had to go to a different website and download a form and then send it by paper mail. Then they kept asking for more and more information (and repeatedly asking for information that had already been sent weeks ago). Finally they denied most of our claim (for which we sent all the supporting documentation requested), and only gave us a very small return amount. We will not book with them again, and we recommend you avoid them if you don't want to break your back trying to do all their paperwork for absolutely no gain. Skip the cheaper price tag and go with a more reliable, better customer service company. We are still trying to call and fight their denial of our claim and despite multiple phone calls, we have not yet gotten a response.
My husband was ill in Paris and we had to have a physician come to our hotel. When we returned from our trip, I filed a claim with Seven Corners. It was handled very professionally and quickly. I would not hesitate to use them or tell my friends to use them.
Very happy with the service and product.
Was great.
You earned 5 stars for living up to the letter of your contract, and handling my small claim promptly, without any hassle.
Unfortunately the insurer is dragging its feet on dealing with my claim. I submitted the documentation almost six weeks ago. I have often insured through Squaremouth and have been lucky enough never to have had cause to file a claim before. This is a really small claim--one night's non-fundable hotel charge when my flight to Venice was cancelled at the last minute. I wish they would get on with it. Would hate to be left hanging with a major claim.
We had to cancel our trip due to a sudden illness of a person in our party. Although Seven Corners received all of the information requested, they kept asking for more information, and, at times, denied that they received documentation that had been mailed, emailed, and faxed. We finally had to have a lawyer handle the case for us, after which they still took another month to settle our claim. It took over 5 months from the time the claim was filed for Seven Corners to reimburse us.
We will never purchase another policy from Seven Corners. They were terrible.
I had to file a claim due to an accident prior to my trip. Although I needed to submit a lot of documentation, it worked perfectly and I received a check for the full amount of my trip. I would definitely use them again.
It took them three times to get me the correct documents. They then miscounted the days missed to reimburse us. Sadly, they did not cover personal care items we needed and had to purchase (toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant). They eventually paid the claim (in two checks). I never did get to speak to an actual claims representative-just a customer service rep who acted as a go-between. They did pay the claim but it took 60 days. I gave them 3 stars for having to file the paperwork 3 times.
