We did not need to contact our provider during the trip, and did not need to make a claim. We were very happy to have the coverage just in case.
Not applicable.
Trip was cancelled by tour operator.
Provider not paying claim.
Legal action being considered.
I submitted a claim before left and still have not heard from the claim
Dept. I am only able to speak to a sales rep. Considering calling the attorney General office.
I am disappointed with my experience. Ethan Blout from Marco Polo strongly recommended that I do a last minute purchase of your trip insurance because he said he was worried the tour might not happen. already had Emergency Evacuation Insurance but reluctantly forked out another $445 to you guys. As he predicted, Ethan folded and his tour was cancelled. Turns out I was one day short of the 10 day waiting period...so why should I have gotten it in the first place. I'm very disappointed in Ethan but some leaks over to your company....for not making it more evident that the trip cancellation wouldn't ever work because I was purchasing it too late. I was open about the dates and feel like I should have been counseled since that was the only reason I bought it.
I had my wallet stolen while in Italy. The cash money of $300 was removed, and the wallet with credit cards was returned to the building where it was stolen. My credit cards were still there - but I had to cancel them. I was left without money or credit cards. Is there any kind of coverage for this problem?
We did not need to make a claim, thanksfully, but chose Squaremouth for our insurance based on good customer reiews.
I'm still waiting for the insurance company to provide me with claim forms from a call I made to them on April 22, 2014. Since they are the secondary medical coverage, I suppose there is no hurry to get me the forms since my primary provider has also not sent me their forms yet. - I've used this company before and am pleased with their service.
We need to file a claim. Our flight from Portland Maine to Newark was cancelled due to weather. This required us to rent a car one way to Newark, drive through the night and catch our flight. Additionally, United did not reimburse our claim for the missed flights which will need reimbursement.
I had no contact with the provider as I did not need to use the policy. This also makes it difficult to quantify any quality. Sorry.
