Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
I have purchased travel insurance for years and never had a claim. This time I do, and I must admit, I am apprehensive about it. I just don't trust insurance companies. We will see how this turns out.
Stellar. Thanks!
Just submitted all documents in order to hopefully recoup some, most of our expenses due to a trip interruption to Belize caused by Tropical Storm Sara.
Our review will most certainly be based on how much of our expenses, having purchased travel insurance for this reason, will be recovered.
I didn't have to file a claim so I can't speak to that side of your service. As far as the policy goes, I have no choice but to accept, and pay for, services I don't want, like coverage for lost luggage or travel delays. There's no option for just emergency medical coverage.
There's no option to extend the expiration date of the policy after travel begins. You guys must have a liability problem with that but such an option would be useful for me since my travel plans often change.
Seven Corners was very easy to work with. The required paperwork was reasonable and necessary for them to evaluate the claim. My phone calls to customer service were very direct and useful I. Helping to provide them the information required.
The website was easy to navigate. The only slight issue was the reason for claim drop down did not allow for duplicate claims for the same product, like air fares. The examiner, though, understood what I was claiming.
The process was fair and completed in a reasonable timeframe.
I hated to have to cancel my trip, but buying insurance from Seven Corners was a wise move. I think this is my third policy with them, I would buy from them again.
My customer service rep for setting up the insurance was excellent.
Contacted customer service for clarification on policy coverage. Felt assured I’d made the correct policy choice.
I bought a “cancel for any reason” policy and thought, by doing so, I was buying the best possible insurance. However, it turns out that I should have *also* purchased the “interruption for any reason” feature which I do not recall being made aware of by the insurance salesperson pre travel. Consequently, when my initial flight to begin my return trip home got canceled (which set off a domino effect) and caused me to miss all my next day international flights, I wound up needing to rebook flights at an additional $1,600! I also subsequently found out that my Seven Corners trip insurance (which itself cost me over $800) did not cover that additional cost. Super disappointed to say the least. Sure wish the Seven Corners salesperson would have been better at explaining ALL the various features of insurance options so I could have better planned and purchased accordingly. Will not be using Seven Corners again.
They were prompt and efficient in settling our claim - we were unable to make our trip because of an illness.
Had an issue prior to my travel that depending on my coverage would have resulted in a claim. They were very unhelpful. Would not explain why i didn’t have coverage on what i would have needed in my policy to have coverage just kept asking me if i wanted to cancel trip which would have resulted in a higher cost to them.
