It was very impersonal and frustrating not having a human being to speak with to clarify our situation. We submitted all our documents on their website. It took several months to resolve the claim.

I fell and hurt my leg in Norway - turned out to be broken.
Once back home I submitted a claim online for a missed walking tour, medical services (eval & X-ray, crutches, etc), medicines and UBER rides. Online process was fairly easy though at first I found it difficult to get back to my submission to add/complete it; would be nice if this was more clearly labeled. I also found the SUBROGATION form a bit confusing as it uses different words for same information/date; a call to Customer Service answered these questions.
I was disappointed that my UBER ride to the airport was not covered (had planned to take a significantly cheaper tram but couldn’t handle luggage with broken leg). UBER rides to/from hospital were covered.
Primary Medical while abroad required paying for everything myself and then submitting claim to get reimbursed. Thankfully the hospital provided me with detailed notes/summary in Norwegian & English including doctor’s name/contact info as well as an itemized bill. Paying by credit card for everything made it easy; didn’t have to find paper receipts to submits with my claim I just included an annotated copy of my credit card statement to show all charges.
My claim was settled in 3 weeks; everything I submitted was covered in full except for 3 UBER rides. I received notification after I first submitted the claim, a request for missing info (subrogation form) a few days later, a “we’re working on it” confirmation after that form was added, a “in review” notice 2 weeks later and then an email clearly listing what was being paid and why some UBER rides were not covered.
This was the first time I had ever submitted a travel insurance claim. Overall the process was easy and quick. Based on this experience I definitely recommend Seven Corners and will use them again on my next European trip.
My customer service experience was excellent. However the real metric would be if I did file a claim how is the responsiveness and resolution. Thankfully, I did not need to use the insurance.
We purchased insurance for a trip to Morocco. Not clear that the insurer knows anything about Morocco.

Unfortunately I was not able to go on my trip due to a hazardous release in my home caused by my contractor. I spoke to an agent about my claim and was told it probably would not get processed. Norse Atlantic airline would not cancel my seat without cancellation of the entire group. Without the cancellation of my round trip airfare, your agent said it was very unlikely a claim would be considered. I lost the cost of my trip, cost of my insurance. What a horrible experience.
My experience with Seven Corners was very good. The website was easy to navigate and the explanations of the plan options were clear and understandable. I had to make a change in the dates of coverage and the customer service agent was very pleasant and efficient.
