I have filed a very simple claim. $300 USD to a doctor in Turkey. He had to remove some glass shards in my foot that I got while walking outside.

The premium was the best price I’d seen for this policy. They handled my claim quickly and efficiently. I will definitely use this company again
We were inexperienced in international travel, but were told "you have to get travel insurance". Trip was canceled due to biopsy and melanoma diagnosis a few days prior to departure. We should have gotten the "cancel for any reason" policy. It's a fair bit of work to provide everything asked for to get reimbursement on a standard policy. Still in "review".
My wife handled submitting the claim to Seven Corner since she had recently submitted a claim with another insurer for a trip she and a friend took. So she knew the ins and outs of filing a claim better than I did.
After getting all of the proper documents together, it wasn't too much trouble. I think they came back to use twice for additional info (nothing unreasonable). After we got them everything they needed, they processed the claim quickly. The claim was for $530. We'd use them again and recommend them.
easy to work with and to add on items covered.
Luckily, we had no issues on this trip that would have required us to file a claim. But on our previous trip, we had a COVID claim. We were very happy with the ease of filing the claim and the prompt response and check.
I contacted customer service to determine what plan I should purchase. The service was great. Luckily I didn't need to file a claim.
Thanks! This was very easy.
Price and reviews were the main reasons why I went with Seven Corners. I will definitely consider them for future travel.
I had two claims. One was for a minor trip interruption. I now understand the interruption was not significant, per the terms of the policy. However, had I pressed on, it is very possible a rescue would have been needed. Too bad the minor charge was not considered in that light.
The second claim was for COVID related interruption. While I do understand that the terms of the policy state that I needed a diagnosis prior to incurring expenses related to leaving the trail and isolating, there was no way to do that as I was in the back country and did not have access to a COVID test. Once again, I made a good decision to evacuate, not move forward and cause a more serious situation.
I do understand the company was interpreting their rules but I actually saved them money!
Finally, the way they handled proof of COVID and relentlessly requiring more documentation around it was very frustrating. I feel it was designed to try to "tire" me out so I would just go away...
I will not use this company again. And I will think long and hard about buying expensive trip insurance.
I ended up not submitting the claim.
As i was filling out the claim, I realized I didn't have grounds for a claim.
