Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
First time buying travel insurance, and it was easy to understand and a decent experience.
It took a call to Seven Corners to figure out why I couldn't see their offering on your website. It was simply because it was too close to departure. Frustrated that this was not auto-flagged.
I always search for simple additional health coverage when out of the country, and it needs to be of high value. I like Seven Corners for that, but compare using Squaremouth.
60 days to process refund was ridiculous!!!
Customer support was very helpful in answering my questions

Took longer than expected but very good service and gave a full claim amount. No hassles! Love it.
The Square Mouth representative was very helpful in clarifying the differences in policy that helped my decision making.
I had a very smooth experience working with 7 corners regarding pre departure activities.
The medical claims process for Seven corners is paperwork intensive. It feels like they have you fill out so much paperwork and duplicate information that you will give up and not make the claim. The majority of paperwork is PDF files and cannot just be submitted online. All the information they require is on the claim form and required receipts, but they then require several other redundant documents. We have a very simple claim which requires the claim form, payment authorization (there is 2 versions of this), physician's statement (good luck getting this for a small claim), subrogation document (written in legalize and totally unnecessary because this wasn't an accident), and a fraud statement.
We will not be using Seven Corners again given this complex process. I can only imagine if this was a large claim that had a hospital stay and multiple doctors that they would tie you up in paperwork forever. What is the good of insurance if the claims process is a nightmare!

I have already escalated this claim process within Squaremouth and it was resolved to my satisfaction. However, the process was very flawed. I submitted the initial materials which I felt provided all the information they needed - receipts for all expenses and their various forms to have them come back 3 times asking for more information. Much of the additional requests were duplicative of the initial information provided - for example I provided fully paid receipts showing the visa card number, but they then also wanted copies of my visa statements.
This was all for a relatively small, very simple case requiring one doctor and one pharmacy. I only dread to think if this was a major medical event in a European country how difficult it would be to satisfy their redundant information requests. As a result of this experience I will continue to use Squaremouth, but never Seven Corners.
Trip cancelled for companions health crisis. Claim filed and pending
Understandablely, theyc conductrd proper research and determined the claim was justified.
All fine.
