Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
We unfortunately had to cancel our trip and I found working with Seven Corners to be extremely easy. The claim was settled promptly with no problems. Much easier than past experience with other trip insurance companies. Would definitely use them again.
We unfortunately had to cancel our trip because of an injury at the last minute. Seven Corners Insurance was easy to work with, answered all our questions and helped fill out the forms. They paid the full amount of the claim in less than 30 days after submitting the claim.
I called twice to include coverage in different countries and the client service representative was friendly and made the changes quickly. Nice service.
Before I purchased this policy, I spoke with Seven Corners customer service to ask about the procedure to locate a doctor in a foreign country if the need should arise. I know from a previous experience with Seven Corners in September 2023 that the answer the customer service agent gave me is not true. Seven Corners does not assist customers to locate a doctor in a foreign country as its promotional information leads its customers to believe.
It was not possible to find someone to answer questions about my policy during the trip on a weekend.
Claim process was fairly smooth. It did take 2 tries to get all the right documents. They did ask for some excess info, but all worked out and my claim was processed. Payment was received quickly
Good experience purchasing the policy and making updates to it before my departure. No issues occurred on my trip so I didn’t need to call customer service, etc.
Seven Corners provided our travel insurance and provided a link to all our documents. Our trip went off without any problems so we did not need to file a claim, but it was good to be reassured that if we needed to, we had purchased enough coverage to handle anything just about. I really liked their new policy on any COVID problems.
However airline ticket prices shot up and when I tried to add on to my coverage I was informed about the medical waiver coverage and the 14-15 day deadline to inact that….adding on to my policy now would nullify that coverage, so I decided not to add anymore coverage and keep the original waiver intact.
I understand to get the medical waiver coverage you have to provide an accurate monetary amount with in days after putting a deposit down on your trip, but this is really hard to do if a policy is purchased months in advanced….as most airline tickets can only be purchased so many months in advanced…so there is not a way to get an accurate estimate other than guessing. But I do understand the insurer’s situation with this. Just make your best guess on airline ticket prices and hope it is close enough.
I purchased a travel policy to protect my family from any unforeseen circumstances that may arise while traveling overseas. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled from Lanzarote Spain to London, so I had to book a flight on another airline to get to London, for my direct return flight home to Denver. The claim was denied on some semantics that the actual return flight from London to Denver was not cancelled. Additionally, it has taken two weeks to come to this conclusion. I had another policy through Allianz strictly for rental car coverage, which was processed and paid in 2 days. So, regardless of the outcome here, I was already unsatisfied with your company. This puts the frosting on the cake, I will never buy a policy from you again.
I contacted Seven Corners about a claim and was asked for certain information which I explained that I could not provide. I asked if this would prevent my claim from being processed, if so, I would not be wasting my time going forward. They would not provide an answer. I have used them in the past and never filed a claim. I will not be using them in the future due to their vague responses to a return customer's request.
