Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
Very dissapointed with my claim experience, which really is the most important way to judge an insurance company. Very, very slow and many unexplained delays, even after they had all necessary documents. Claim form submitted with documentation but it took almost five months for them to cut a check for my full claim. My "cancel for any reason" claim was very straightforward and they had no objections. Copying Squaremouth on my follow up emails to Seven Corners seemed to help. My experience was surprising because I had a policy from Seven Corners at the start of Covid and they were very responsive, and paid the claim quickly with no issues, which is why I purchased another policy from them. I would not purchase from them again.
Our flight was canceled and we have insurance yet y’all would give us our money back from the cruise make it make sense
It gave me peace of mind knowing I had the insurance.
Seven Corners rep on txt and telephone answered my pre-purchase questions. The responses gave me the assurance that I wanted the product.
I had no need to communicate with Seven Corners during or after my trip - fortunately. No claims.
I have attempted to file a claim online through Seven Corners Website and have reached an error message multiple times when I try to submit for esignature. I reached out by chat and email and have received to reply.
I am pleased overall with Seven Corners travel insurance. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to submit the same information several times and explain how some eye problems can be an emergency but cannot be handled by an emergency room . The customer service rates excellent with my phone calls answered immediately and agents helpful and pleasant.
The Seven Corners insurance policy fit our travel plans of domestic travel, staying in lodges, and coverage for extraction due to outdoor activities including rock climbing. I definitely will use Seven Corners again.
The first time I used your service! Glad to know that I can refer to you again
Thankfully I didn't need to file a claim and had a great experience with the purchasing of the policy pre-vacation.
I found it disappointing that you don't cover cell phones. Mine was stolen and I have a police report, but you still won't cover it. While it does say so in the document, you need a lawyer to parse all the exceptions and ifs and buts... so overall, very disappointed.
I was injured while on my trip in Turkey. I went to an Emergency Room and was seen by a doctor who arranged for me to be admitted to the hospital for urgent care and possible amputation of one of my toes due to severe infection (cellulitis). My wife called Seven Corners that night I was admitted and informed them of my situation and that we would be opening a claim and submitting documents for reimbursement. The Seven Corners representative said that I would be receiving a confirmation of the call by email. I never received such confirmation or acknowledgement. Two days later I called Seven Corners myself and informed the representative that I was in the hospital and receiving intensive antibiotic treatments for my cellulitis. This representative said that I would be receiving an email confirming my notice of hospitalization from Seven Corners. I never received an email confirmation nor a return call from Seven Corners.
Upon my return to my home I began my claim for reimbursement of medical costs from Seven Corners. I tried using their online claims process several times but each time the system locked up and I could not proceed. I opened a chat box with a live representative that informed me I needed to start over. I explained that I had started over 3 times and each time the system would lock up as I was part way through. The representative apologize and then said I would have to contact claims through their email system and submit my claim and supporting documents that way.
After 6 hours of collecting documents, copying them, scanning them for electronic submission, and waiting for my doctor in Turkey to respond and complete the required document by Seven Corners, I was able to submit my claim the following day, June 12, 2024. I am now waiting to hear from Seven Corners if my claim is accepted.
