My experience with Seven Corners has been positive...so far. The purchase was simple and straightforward. I have submitted a medical expense claim (yesterday). I am concerned because I have seen numerous poor reviews regarding claims processing and approval. Since my claim was just submitted yesterday I am not able to rate that process. As they say, "the proof is in the pudding". I am forever hopeful.

I had read stories online about claims not being paid in a timely manner or at all. This, however, was NOT my experience. The submission process was simple and straightforward and I received my medical reimbursement within ONE WEEK! Outstanding service. I will use them for my next trip.
I didn’t realize that I needed to bring insurance claim form with me on my trip. I had an medical emergency on plane. Medics met me when I arrived after 17 hour flight. They wanted to take me to hospital. But I was feeling ok then. They did take my vitals. Since I was ok. I took connecting flight, but promised I would see doctor once I arrived. The following day I went to urgent care. I submitted the receipt I got from the urgent care. But that was not enough for the insurance co. The Urgent care office is in Wellington NZ. So I can’t give them the form to fill out. As a result I can’t get reimbursed for visit even though I bought the insurance. I will never deal with that company again. I would give zero stars if I could.

The staff at Seven Corners were professional and very helpful with my claim. I started with a phone call to discuss my situation and whether it was covered by the policy I had purchased. The person handling my call was excellent. She emailed all of the documents I needed to complete. I submitted those documents with my supporting documentation by mail. The process of reviewing my claim was handled quickly. I was contacted by email to provide an additional document, which I did via a return email. The final resolution to my claim was provided by email and I received the payment within a week of that email. From the date I mailed my claim to the receipt of the payment took less than 1 month. Excellent service! I have since bought a policy for a recent completed trip that I did not need to file a claim for and I have purchased a policy for an upcoming trip.
I called international number during trip to explain there was a trip delay and find out what I needed to file a claim and couldn’t understand the accented English. After trip called toll free number and person was just giving the party line, wasn’t listening to what I was saying. To file claim, had to photograph documents and attach to claim and couldn’t figure out how to do it. Whole process was upsetting, confusing, and frustrating. Not everyone is comfortable and confident with online technology.

Seven Corners is our Go-To Travel Insurance. We have had to make (2) claims in 7 years. Once, because of a death in family 2 days into a 7 day cruise. I submitted the paperwork for the claim. And recently a cruise arrived 4 hrs late missing our flights. On the 1st claim, (SC) reimbursed us for unused portion of cruise, taxi’s, flights. On the 2nd claim (SC) Reimbursed us Hotel, (2) transfers, and meal. I give (SC) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Purchasing the travel policy was easy. I found all the information I needed on-line. The ability to compare policies is a good feature. I particularly appreciated the ability to find policies that cover medical emergencies while traveling that aren't bundled with other travel insurance feafures such as trip cancellation and trip delay.
