this is the 2nd or 3rd time I purchase travel insurance from your company, no problems in the past, but now I need to file a claim since I was stuck in Israel because of the terrorist attack on Oct. 7th and we had to leave the country A.S.A.P which interrupted my vacation therefore I had to purchase a new return that incurred additional expenses

I purchased the Seven Corners 'Trip Protection Choice' plan. 11RTC22-AOS-135573
I would never purchase this plan again, OR purchase a plan from Seven Corners. I believe that their definition of 'trip interruption' is so restrictive, that I can't believe anyone can ever make a claim for it. Yes, the language is actually in the policy (my error for not understanding it) that I would have had to have a doctor require quarantine in order to qualify for trip interruption. That is ridiculous -- no doctor would require a client to quarantine for any condition. Seven Corners did pay for the doctor visit and prescriptions, but somehow expected me to be well enough to leave for Paris the next day when the reality is that I was ill in bed, and would have been highly contagious. It is ridiculous to think that I would have been making this story up in order to stay in Nice an additional five nights. While very ill, I had to contact hotels and tours in Paris, my hotel had to find me another room, had to change flights home, etc.
Note: I did not have any contact with them pre-departure or during my trip. I submitted the claim along with receipts after I returned home.
The policy provided very comprehensive coverage & was significantly less expensive than the cost of similar coverage thru our tour operator, Abercrombie & Kent. Since we were fortunate enough not to need the insurance, I can't comment on how well any claims would be handled.
My answers to questions don't mean anything because I didn't have to use the insurance (thank God).
After speaking with the representative, I felt informed and satisfied.
In process of filing a claim for medical
I will never purchase a travel insurance from you. After nearly a month since my trip they ha e not processed a simple claim for me while they asked for many documents. This is my first claim after nearly 10 years of buying insurance through you. Purchasing the insurance is so simple but I have the experience now that dont expect your claim to be processed quick or eventually approved.
So far so good. This was my second purchase of Seven Corners insurance, will purchase again for future trips. Intended claim should be very small, waiting on Medicare Supplement to process first.
Helpful & well explained
