Brtish Air lost our luggage on the departure leg of the flight. Had no luggage on cruise for the first 6 days. They finally found and delivered 1 bag on the 7th day. They have never found/ delivered the second bag at this time. Waiting for them to finish their search. Depending on BA I may file a claim at that time. Would rather have my luggage back. We had to send 750 dollars for basic clothing. Talked to BA and i should no the outcome in the next 7 days.

Fortunately did not need to make a claim, but did contact customer service prior to departure for my trip to inquire re any out of pocket up front expenses if there was a medical emergency requiring hospitalization or air ambulance. I was assured Seven Corners Insurance would do a letter of agreement with the healthcare providers to pay costs. It was easy to contact customer service and speak with a representative.
Easy to purchase and read docs. Instructions for filling a claim, if needed, were provided. It was easy to add coverage as needed. Follow up after trip was nice. I did not need to file a claim and can only hope, if I had, that process would have gone as smoothly.
So far a good experience. I’ve talked twice with customer service and they have been very knowledgeable and helpful. One time I called and decided for the call back option, but never got a call back. The real test will be how my claim goes and how long it will take to process.
