Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
Purchasing was a "piece of cake" online -- I am a return customer, so that element is not a surprise!
However, about 12 hours after purchase, I realized I had made a mistake on a rather important item!
I was distracted in shifting back and forth from US date format to European date format and entered incorrect data.
The attention from your customer service office was exemplary - problem solved in 5 minutes, and proper documentation provided in 10 minutes!
All went well with the trip so no need for a claim. I made a mistake myself and purchased other insurance when I purchased my air ticket, thinking it would only cover air fare. I spoke with your representative when I realized I had double insured myself. Unfortunately it mean my primary medical became secondary . Getting primary medical was the main reason I used your policy. But it was my error and the representative that informed me that my medical was now secondary was very nice and clearly explained the effect of the earlier insurance purchase, which I later discovered overlapped several Seven Corners policy provisions
I will use Seven Corners again. I mask up when I travel and have had no casualties with illness. But I love your medical and evacuation coverage.
Easy process, claim paid promptly.
Had a trip reroute and 7 hour flight delay and spoke to your customer service department asking to hep with the the claim with the airline!
They were useless and told me to deal with the airline directly!
I told her I did but they were giving me a run around. I had email and birding pass to justify delay. The rep was not being helpful!
I was dissatisfied with service since I believe I purchased flight delay protection!!!
Seven Corners is a scam. They craft their policy to make collection impossible.
Good experience, but expensive. Seven Corners provided helpful information to assist in my choice of insurance.
I thankfully did not need to use it.
I will be making further inquiries before choosing insurance for my next trip. During my trip I met met a couple, who had a terrible experience with insurance (they did not/not use Seven Corners). The husband fell getting onto a boat, broke ribs and punctured his lungs resulting in critical care hospitalization for over 2 weeks. His insurance company had terrible customer service and did everything possible to get out of assisting the couple. Their tour company was surprised how unhelpful the insurance company and is working to assist. .
Based on my experience with Seven Corners, I believe the representatives would have been more helpful.
Many thanks

My flight was cancelled due to a storm that flooded the airport. I purchased a separate flight to get home, when I filed a claim to get reimbursed they told me it wasn't covered.
I just filed my claim and it is pending. I find buying insurance is easy, but getting information when traveling about a claim and then the process of submitting it and eventually getting paid can be difficult. It’s too soon to tell.
Our trip was canceled by the tour company. They seem to be having difficulty and have canceled many trips, usually just days before scheduled departure. Seven Corners has been very cordial but asked for many pages of information for our claim. I have sent in 54 pages of information to them and have been told I must wait up to 30 dayes for a response. So I am currently waiting. I have no idea how long this will take but I am asking for a little over $26,000 to be reimbursed so I am sure they will take their time. There were 3 travelers all insured on this policy.
Review Updated: 08/24/2023
I put in a claim to recover the cost of a trip with Vantage Travel for 3 people. The trip was to leave on May 26, 2023 and return on June 10, 2023 On May 23rd Vantage canceled the trip with a non excuse, "we are sorry for cancelling your trip and know it is not what you wanted or expected." I then requested a refund. As everyone knows, Vantage declared bankruptcy at the end of June. No Vantage trips left after May 20th and they were open only for new bookings until June 20th.
I sent a 53 page claim to Seven Corners because I did have an financial insolvency clause in my policy. I was informed they would reply within 30 days. I contacted them to let them know Vantage had laid off all employees on June 20th and were preparing to declare bankruptcy. I called several times during the month of July wondering what was happening with my claim and got similar excuses to those given by Vantage with no appology for the delay. On August 4th, over 50 days later and without any questions or contact before hand with me, Seven Corners declined my claim. Because the email to me from Vantage, did not say they were insolvant when they canceled the trip, my claim was declined.
Because of their foot draging with answering this claim, and even though the ship we were scheduled to use was found in storage on June 2nd, during my insured period, I was not pleased with their handling of my claim. When I asked to speak with someone to explain some of their reasoning I was given to a young woman who could only read me the letter I received and said I could appeal. I intend to do so but don't expect a different outcome.
I already had suffered through all the mess with Vantage and when I turned to the insurance company who I thought would be on my side in this experience, I found myself in another fight. No I will not use Seven Corners again.
Most horrible experience with an insurance company in 40 years. My recommendation is to never use this company. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. After purchasing the policy, the confirmation letter included a specific coverage that was not included online during the purchase process. I contacted Seven Corners online Customer Service about this issue via email. Received information on this specific coverage in writing via email. Based on the information I received, I called to add that specific coverage only to be told that it had to be purchased during the purchase process which was contradicted the information received via email. I explained this is not what I had been told via email--and even sent the email back so it could also be reviewed by a supervisor. Was basically told "too bad" by the supervisor as well. I gave up trying to resolve the issue because Seven Corners obviously does not care about customer service after the purchase is completed. So glad we didn't need to file a claim because it would probably have been a nightmare, but if I had, I would have sent it to the CEO of the company.
