Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
Very frustrating. My claim was filed January 10th. Still unresolved. I followed up numerous times & corresponded with someone different almost every time. They requested some documentation more than once so apparently they lost it after I submitted it the first time. Just this past week they requested documentation that was never requested before. I will never use Seven Corners again!

Seven Corners was extremely slow & apparently disorganized in reviewing & approving my claim. They originally promised 4 wks to review it. After several follow up messages always with different people involved & more delays I submitted it through the Zero Complaint process with Square Mouth. Very soon after that I was notified by Seven Corners my claim was approved & reimbursed. All in all Seven Corners came through but the very slow & frustrating process of pushing the claim through was disappointing.
I have no issues with Squaremouth. I do have issues with Seven Corners! We submitted a claim to them in January 2023 as my husband
fell on the ice and broke his femur and needed surgery. We were unable to take our cruise. I received a reply from them on January 11, 2023 that they had received all of my documents. To date we have not had a reply from them about our claim. I have called them twice about our claim. The first time I was told that it would take about 90 days! The second time I called they told me 130 days!
They used the excuse of the Southwest airlines debacle. I remind them that they originally told me 90 days. I guess my next step its to call and insist on speaking with a manager. Right now I would rate them at -1. I do not know if you all can help me out or not.
They promptly responded to my request for a letter of confimation showing that I had health insurance for my visit to Vietnam. Although I didn't need it, it was good to have in the event that it would have been required.
I suffered a complete rupture of the Achilles on my right foot three weeks before departing. I filed a claim on February 17th, the day before my originallly scheduled departure. Three weeks went by and I called Seven Corners to ask about the status of my claim. I was told it would likely take ninety days before they processed the claim. That just seems far too long to have to wait. Perhaps I should have asked about time to settle claims before purchasing a policy from Seven Corners. Hard to believe all the carriers on your site are taking that long.
I filed a claim with Seven Corners on December 5, 2022 and finally received payment on March 7th; three months after filing a claim.
It seems odd that Seven Corners will take your money in less than 30 minutes but takes 3 months to pay a claim.
This survey is premature and questions don’t apply well to my situation. I have been waiting a long time for my claim with minimal updates regarding its status.
24 hr assistance line was just music, no person picked up the call. It was totally useless!
While I did not file a claim nor need to file one, I am most disappointed with the customer service aspect of Seven Corners. Our return trip home from Costa Rica was delayed due to weather and I contacted Customer Service via WhatsApp to see if an extension was possible. I was primarily interested in ensuring we had medical evacuation and emergency services. The customer service rep had me on the phone for 2 1/2 hours and was still unable to provide me with meaningful assistance and seemed unclear as to policy options. She indicated I could not extend my policy but needed to purchase another - which also was not possible as the minimal requirements for a new medical policy was 5 days and our extension was for 4 days. We also weren't looking at another round trip need. She indicated that she was unable to call me as this is not a service that they provide via WhatsApp. She finally stated that she would have a Sales Rep call me - and that never happened. So - no! I would not recommend using this company again
Being unable to cancel part of my trip, delaying my departure and traveling for a shorter time, was a disappointment. I had purchased the cancel for any reason policy in addition to the regular insurance. I was diagnosed with Covid less than two weeks prior to my scheduled departure, and would have appreciated the flexibility to modify my plans under coverage, leaving later and staying for a shorter time. When I was told this was not possible, it seemed I had wasted my money purchasing the insurance since I was not able to use it to modify my trip. I would have happily provided documentation of my positive Covid test and medical care. The policy should come with more flexibility in altering plans (not just cancelling completely) when something unexpected arises.
Great anxiety reducer knowing the trip would be a win, win, in all cases.
Little money for the relief.
Thank You
