Because I came down with Covid while traveling and needed to see a doctor, I submitted my small doctor's appointment bill (around $65) to Seven Corners on November 30th with all the documentation required. It is now March. When I last inquired about the status of the claim on February 10th, more than 2 1/2 months later, I was told it is in line to be reviewed and it might be up to 100 days from when it was received. I think this is ridiculous for such a small claim. So this is not a comment on Squaremouth, but I think it would be helpful, when using the site to compare travel insurance policies to have information available to review about average claim processing time. It might incentivize the companies to address them in a more timely fashion.

I purchased trip insurance just in case something would happen. Well it did. We have been waiting & waiting for our Birth certificates to come that we ordered a while ago. Had to Cancel Trip !

I thought I might need to cancel my trip due to my mother's health situation. The customer service rep that responded to my questions was kind and informative, following up promptly with the promised materials. In the end, I was able to go on my trip, so did not need to file a claim.
We had a wonderful trip! All went well and we did not need to use our travel insurance. Thx be to God!
