Great coverage, and fortunately Carol & I did not need to file any claims.
Reasonably priced coverage with good customer service. I did have medical care in London, but thanks to the UK's socialized medicine, the total bill was zero. Take a hint, America!
They give you a run around and always find a way not to reimburse you
It is far too early to provide a review. So disregard all the stars. The review will depend on how well you handle the claim, so why this review until the claim is complete? Why are you asking me if I filed a claim when you should know that by now? The review could change from 3 stars which was arbitrary to 1 star or 5 stars. Do NOT contact me by phone, please, but email is okay. BTW, your customer service by phone was fine, helpful, professional, but it takes too long to access a human being. If you have so many claims, stop complaining about it in your recorded comments to customers and hire more customer support agents so there isn’t such a long wait for service.
Still waiting for a response from Seven Corners
My trip was cancelled due to health reasons and your customer service was very helpful in assisting me.
I had to call numerous times to check on the status of my “missed port claim” as it satin received stays fir two weeks. Finally it was approved.
People were nice on the phone. My first claim, about flight delays, was handled immediately.
When I got hospitalized in India, I gave policy number to the hospital who said that it was only a Guarantee and not a claim. They tried to contact the insurance company and there were no responses. Eventually I called the Insurance company who said- "many foreign countries do not deal with the company directly". They asked me to pay off and then launch a claim once back in USA. This is not satisfactory. Based on the problem and illness, it is possible that we may not have adequate funds to pay off the hospital. They must invent a method where they step in to alleviate the payment issue.
The policy has a max cover of $500,000 and no one on a leisure trip to a foreign country will have that kind of moneys available. This is a bitter finding for me.
Claim in process. Seven Corners advised will take some time to process; apologized for delay.
I cannot tell whether my claim would be approved. I could not make hhe trip because I had to have surgery. The airline issued a credit which I will not be abke to use in their allotted time frame since I am going into chemo. Can I get reimbursed for my airfare?
