This would have been a 5 star review except for the pushback we got when trying our trip was postponed due to covid-19. If you trip is cancelled and covered due to natural disasters, civil unrest, etc, how can a world wide pandemic be excluded just because covid 19 was not specifically listed on the the policy-(it didn’t even exist then)? If a country’s borders are closed for travel, for whatever reason, you won’t be traveling and you don’t need a travel insurance policy! The issue was finally resolved by transferring our policy to our new trip dates in 2021. However, I would have appreciated that offer from the very beginning, rather than sweating the review board process and the possibility of losing all that money, just to have to purchase another policy or chance traveling without coverage. COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on the entire travel industry - it doesn’t need any help from less accommodating travel suppliers.
