The policy was just what was needed, at the right price.
I was a bit worried about filing a claim thinking I would be hassled by Tinleg for a mountain of paperwork. Not the case at all. The two agents I worked with were extremely pleasant and helpful and guided me through the process. My claim was accepted the same day I provided all the needed paperwork. Wow! What a very pleasant experience.
It's too soon to tell. We are waiting for an interview.
I've purchased travel insurance through Tin Leg in the past and have always been impressed with how easy it is to research the various policies and be able to select a policy that's perfect for our needs. Because we are both senior citizens, we needed a policy that would cover us in the event of an unforeseen medical problem.
That said, two weeks prior to our departure, my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. Not knowing whether she would need surgery in the immediate future, I called customer service to find out if our policy covered an illness of a family member. The lady I spoke with could not have been more sensitive to our needs and assured me that, yes, we indeed would be covered. She also said that I could cancel our trip prior to departure or, if necessary, we could cut our trip short and we would still be covered for any expenses incurred. What a relief!!!
Fortunately, my daughter had the surgery prior to our departure and is doing well ... and we were able to take our "trip of a lifetime" and enjoy every minute.
Overall experience was very good. We were told we needed to have this type of insurance for the type of trip we took. We secured the insurance online with the help of a CS representative.
The hope was we would never have to use it . Yea we didn’t have to use it.
