Prior to my trip ! I felt I needed proof of insurance in case I needed medical help! I called just two days before my departure on a Saturday! The answering machine said the office was closed ! I left a message! Someone was working on that Saturday ! E-mailed me a copy of proof of insurance that day! " Great Service! "
All my anxiety was taken care of, and I left the next Monday morning with proof of insurance in hand ! All of this late reaction was my fault ! But ! Your employee went beyond normal customer service to help me !
Also ! I used your insurance on a previous trip were I was hospitalized ! Again ! Your service was Great ! Made me a customer for life ! My travel partner who was also hospitalized at the same time ! When I discovered that OAT had overcharged me for my trip, I contacted Tin Leg. They said too much time had passed and wouldn't refund the extra charge on insurance because of the overcharge. Not fair!
My experience with Customer Service was good as they were courteous and answered all questions that I had. However, since there is no intent to file a claim it is not possible to rate the most important part of the need to insure. I will say that during the trip I felt comfortable about being insured although there was a feeling of uncertainty as to whether I crossed all the "Ts" and dotted all the "Is" in case I ever needed the insurance. I have generally found most insurance companies to be great until there is a need to file a claim.
Trip dates changed, policy was changed with no problem.

Never sick a day in her life, 85 year old Betty became suddenly ill with multiple life threatening issues. Tin Leg was on the phone with us very early in the process and tried to help coordinate her Emergency Evacuation. Note to all travelers: make sure you have a doctor with admitting privileges on the home end or you will not be transported. Betty was eventually stable enough to commercially fly but was hospitalized in the mean time. We kept impeccable records and in contact with TL/Square Mouth.
