    We submitted a claim for my husband and myself. Mine was paid promptly. My husband's claim was only partially paid and I spoke with a representative about a week ago and am waiting for a reply. She was very polite and helpful and I hope the claim will be paid.

    This claim has been filed; however, it is on hold until after 12/2/2105 as it involves a claim for travel cancellation with United Air. We have until 12/2 to rebook. We will not be doing so but need to wait until after that date to confirm that we did not rebook and that credit card insurance is not paying a claim under its trip cancellation coverage. This makes sense.

    We are very happy with TinLeg as this has been a frustrating travel year. Earlier Turkish Air lost all of our luggage (3 suitcases.) TinLeg did compensate us for this loss. It was not total reimbursement but followed the guidelines and our entitlement.

    First time I made a travel insurance claim. This was for an emergency hospital visit in Lucerne. I provided all the information I could think of, but I still thought the claims dept would require more. Not the case. They approved and closed the case much quicker than I expected and with absolutely no fuss or hassle.
    Excellent choice of carriers, excellent service far beyond my expectations.

    STILL Waiting for a refund after submitting what you asked for. Room mate for that cruise sent in his claim a week after me and has received a refund a couple of days ago.

    I purchased the travel insurance at the last minute and Tin Leg has the best value/cost. We didn't need to use it after all, but I think I'll get the policy from them next time too.

    The only recommendation I have is that Tin Leg should have a live representative in touch with the party submitting a claim. Since we had no personal interaction (communication was done through their website) we were in the dark about where the claim was in the pipeline and when our claim would be resolved. Apart from this we were extremely satisfied with Tin Leg. They refunded the full amount paid for plane tickets to Hawaii after we were forced to cancel the trip for medical reasons.
