    I have spoken with our claims team and reviewed your claim. Our records show that we completed your claim interview on July 23, and received your claim form and supporting documents on August 6. We sent an email to confirm receipt of these documents on August 6.

    In your case, we received all necessary documentation, and we were able to make a decision on your claim without a second interview.

    The customer service representative I talked to was worthless. My flight going to my cruises was delayed and I called to see what my options were for booking another flight to the cruise port. She said that my policy didn't cover delayed flights (but it did cover trip interruptions?). She then told me my only other option would be to cancel the while trip and get a full refund, which would have cost them and me a while lot more money than simply booking another flight. Luckily through the airlines I was able to get on another flight to my destination. Missed connections seems like a standard thing that should be covered and I expect better customer service than I received so I will not be using Tin Leg again.

    I didn't need to file a claim, but prior to travel, I wanted to upgrade my policy. The cancellation grace period had already lapsed, but a customer service representative was able to change the policy anyway. I appreciated the flexibility.

    I do not usually purchase health insurance when I travel abroad on a tour but this time I was going to be on my own for a month in India & felt I needed it. I am so happy I found Tin Leg through squaremouth. The squaremouth format for comparing companies & policies was ideal for me & helped me define what I actually was looking for. I communicated with customer service to clarify a point before I purchased & they promptly replied. I was fortunate not to have to use it but I was thankful for it every time I saw the card in my wallet. With their reasonable price, I will be using Tin Leg on future trips.

    I was very much impressed on how responsive and efficient Tin Leg was processing my claim. The process was much easier than I have ever imagined. Everything done online, simple forms, one quick interview, upload medical report and itinerary. I was informed continuously along the way with automated emails when documents were received. At every given time I knew what to expect. They told me it could take up to 3 weeks to process my claim. They actually did it within 48 hours. Tin Leg has a new customer from now on and I will recommend it highly to friends and family.

    Falck's customer representatives were cordial and immediately responsive. I want to point out the Patrica Bell was especially helpful and caring. During our trip, I emailed to Patricia many documents and photos documenting my wife's accident and fractured left heal. When returning to Los Angeles, I wrote up a time line and cost breakdown and sent it to Patrica so she could forward it to Tin Leg's claims adjuster. Most, if not all information he/she might need for the interview is described in my extensive notes. Consequently, I called Tin Leg's claims office to notify whoever is handling my claim, to review my documents before he/she calls me this coming Monday. I was not allowed vary from step by step protocol. I was not allowed to talk to anyone other than the woman who answered the phone. I hope my claims representative reviews all the submitted documents and emails before the interview. I'll find out if that happened Monday.

    All of your customer service representatives were helpful and reassuring, especially while we were still in Europe and needed help the most. We were so impressed, we bought another Tin Leg policy for our next five-week trip in January. This will be our third policy with Tin Leg. The first we didn't need and we hope that situation will be the same for the next vacation coming up. Travel insurance is an added expense, and not cheap. But when you need it, and everything is covered, you're glad you bought it.
