Let me start by saying that Tin Leg's customer service is amazing. The representative that I dealt with was extremely responsive, very professional and also compassionate. We had to interrupt a long-planned trip when my father-in-law became gravely ill while we were traveling in Europe. Despite it being a popular U.S. holiday weekend we received prompt customer support, including the Claims Manager's cell phone number to call or text at any hour with questions or issues that we needed assistance with. When we returned to the U.S., we filed a trip interruption claim. Even though the circumstances associated with our claim weren't completely standard and we couldn't get all the paperwork perfectly filled out due to patient privacy issues, Tin Leg recognized that we had done our best to meet the substantive requirements of their claim paperwork/process and approved 100% of our claim. Oh, and did I mention that the claim was reviewed, approved and that we had a check within 14 days of filing the claim? Absolutely incredible. We always buy trip insurance whenever we travel, and Tin Leg now has a customer for life in us.

The live chat was very helpful in deciding which insurance to buy. We had possibilities of several kinds that might have interfered with the trip from beginning to end. Fortunately , none of those happened, but Tin Leg helped us plan for these and set our minds at eas.

I have used Tin Leg for all my travel insurance and never had to use the insurance until this trip in September 2017. I contacted the 24 hour service and was immediately helped with my medical problem. I was told what hospital to go to and they were very clear with procedure for checking into the emergency room. I was taken care of and released the same day. As far as I know,, my claim has been handled. I was greatly impressed with how each person I dealt with was quick and efficient in helping me. I recommend Tin Leg and hope that anyone needing their service is met with such great service.
