    They paid the medical claims the both my wife and I had with a minimum of hassle and within a week of our filing the claim. We could not expect better service.

    Brief phone interview followed by form with detailed bill attached; check was issued promptly and paid 100% of charges! Would have been a hardship tacking on additional medical bill to the cost of the cruise. Would purchase again as you never know what your own insurance will pay when you are out of network, etc.

    Tin Leg offers the best coverage for the price. I have never needed to file a claim. If I ever do need to file a claim hopefully the claim process will be as easy as the purchasing process.

    My wife was diagnosed with cancer 3 months before our trip but after our cruise deposit was paid. We filed a claim for the deposit and a prepaid airline flight. We had some difficulty jumping through all the hoops necessary to verify the medical issues during what was a very stressful time for us , but the Tin Leg agent was patient and helpful and the claim was ultimately paid.

    My claim was handled, approved and paid, with LIGHTENING fast speed, by Kelly Calkins. I am so thankful for the speed, efficiency and professionalism with which my claim was handled. We travel a lot, and I always buy trip insurance....many times it has been with Tin Leg, but this is our first actual claim experience with them. When we travel next, I will likely choose Tin Leg again because of the way they handled this claim. Kelly Calkins, thank you so much.

    I called Tin Leg customer service to file a claim for $2400.00 in medical expenses incurred on a cruise ship. Within two weeks the claim was settled and I had a check for the full amount. This was the first time I have filed a claim with a travel insurance company and, based on a friend's recent experience with another insurance company, I was expecting a time consuming and frustrating experience. This was not at all my experience. The Tin Leg claims people were very polite and easy to deal with and they kept all call-back appointments as agreed. I cannot say enough good things about Tin Leg. Their prices for the policy were reasonable compared to other providers and their service was excellent! I will definitely buy from them again.
