Have used your services for a few years and find dealing with your customer service to set up the insurance to be very easy. Rates are always the lowest, too.
Had to file a claim and the process was smooth. I’ll definitely consider them again for my next trip.
Social Security wont cover me outside the U.S. I drove to Canada and went fishing.
Trip was canceled for medical reasons. Claim required multiple conversations with adjuster to obtain documentation that would satisfy conditions for refund.
The advertisement said-Feel free to call us with any changes. I called before buying because I was uncertain about the other grandmother coming so I wanted to know what info I would need on hand if she decided to come. The rep said there was no changes allowed after purchase.
Make up my mind. That could have been a big problem.
they handled it reasonably and well
I made an error with my departure date, I called the help line and they took care of it immediately!! Thank you
My only experience was with the sales rep.
My wife and I contracted a bacterial disease while in Africa causing severe diarrhea. My wife also fell in the bathroom as a result of the diarrhea and needed stiches to close the wound. When I went through your automated phone system, I finally talked to the health care specialist trying to get a referral for a private hospital in Johannesburg. Her answer was that I should google the local hospital. Worthless information that did not help me in a crisis situation. A perrson goes to the public hospitals there to die, not get care. I needed a private hospital which a local friend helped us get into. She had a CT scan and 8 staples to close the Wound. We delayed our departure one day to help recover and then flew to our Detroit destination. My wife was checked into the hospital for three days at Corewell hospital in Royal Oak MI.
I explained the situation when I initially made the claim online, but was constantly being asked by email for documentation that did not fit my claim issue. I finally had to schedule a phone call to discuss the situation, but even then, I don't feel like it was completely understood.
