I did not have any issues with TinLeg Ins. However, a leg of my flight was canceled because of mechanical issues a few days before our flight and I had to rebook at premium double the price. I have filed a claim for the difference and am waiting response.
Luckily I didn't have to make use of this insurance, so I don't know what making a claim would be like.

I called and spoke to a great customer services person who explained that all insurance co. listed were good. I just needed to pick the coverage I wanted to.

We had to submit a claim for an emergency room visit for our little one. Upon our return home we emailed the claim form in with the requested documents attached. The claim form said we would be contacted by a claims representative within 5-7 working days. We were never contacted, but I called the customer service line and was able to speak to someone and received a claim number. The next day in the mail we received a letter telling us the claim had been approved and the reimbursement check was being sent separately.
A more efficient process might include an automated claims response system that notifies the customer of receipt and assigns the claim number. Aside from having to call in to check on the status it was a very easy and cost efficient process.
Will use again for future travel.
I was told, via phone, that I could not buy a policy just for return home if one of us had a serious injury or death. I had to buy a policy for the whole trip cancellation deal.
A policy with many features and the price was reasonable. And the staff very helpful.
During the trip I was told that my more than 6 hour delay would qualify for a $150 insurance payout. After the trip, I submitted all paperwork, including a follow up inquiry regarding additional expenses incurred due to the delay. There were no additional expenses. I have not heard from Tin Leg since and wonder if I should use them again.
