They are taking a long time to process my claim. They have not, to my knowledge, contacted our rental agent in Costa Rica to verify our claim. They have asked me to provide the same information that I provided in my original claim cover letter to them. I am getting impatient to at least hear whether they will honor my claim or not.

After experiencing my first weather related flight cancellation, I was extremely impressed in how quickly this matter was resolved and paid. I had asked for a specific dollar reimbursement, provided the appropriate evidence, and was completely surprised when they paid out to my satisfaction. I've heard of other people having issues in obtaining travel insurance reimbursements, but it is clear to me that Tin Leg is an honest and supportive insurance company.
This policy included a travel delay segment, with reimbursements made after a 6 hour delay. Our flight was delayed beyond that time, we obtained a certificate from the airlines indicating what time the flight arrived, kept our receipts for our meal and taxi and turned those in to Tin Leg. The refund was made with no issues.
I send many request but no reply, Call about 3 times to find out if they have received my claim, Finally some one ask me to refile the claim. Also our claim is partly paid.

Our claim is still on hold per your representative. We are waiting to find out how Turkish Air is going to handle the lost luggage. They are being very difficult to work with.
I choose the policy after reviewing several online and reading previous customer reviews. This was a deciding factor in choosing the policy and company behind the policy.
Unfortunately I filed a claim after my families passports where stolen along with cash and personal possessions. I am still waiting for my claim to be settled currently but feel confident in the process after the reviews I read from previous customers.
Our claim was filed with the required documentation over a month ago. I was informed at that time the claim would be processed within three weeks. From the questionnaire above I am led to believe it will be another 4 weeks. This is unacceptable. Our paperwork was complete, and this should not be that difficult to process.
