I always buy travel Insurance with my many travels but this is the first time I actually filed a claim with Tin Leg. I purchased Tin Leg policy on May 14 2024 for my 2 months trip to Asia starting Oct 3 2024. Due to sudden diagnosis of severe heath issue of my family member I cancelled the trip on late July 2024. I was pleasantly surprised that Tin Leg process for claim was straightforward and prompt.
The process was still tedious which is understandable. You need to be organized and kept all records.
I cancelled all hotels, flights, tours, and cruise. Many I booked are with free cancellation. However I incurred penalties monetary lost with flights and cruise

Tin Leg responded to my claim & questions promptly and though roughly. My claim was approved for the amount I claimed. Tin Leg was also flexible to accept medical record that my family member's health provider would provide. Tin Leg sent a form for the medical provider to complete but the health provider refused and stated that they can't. It is also understandable that the Healthcare provider can only provide complete medical records from their system on file.
Filing a claim process is not something I would want to do with travelling. However, I am glad that my Tin Leg travel Insurance works the way it supposed to work. I definitely will consider Tin Leg over other travel insurance for future travel. I can recommend Tin Leg and will buy Tin Leg travel insurance with confidence.
