When I bought the insurance, the policy said it included travel delay. About a week or two before we left for our trip the airline changed the time of one of the legs of our flight. The leg they changed gave us 2hrs instead of 3hrs to get through customs, recheck our luggage and go back through security. The airlines said it wouldn't be a problem. Well it was a problem. Our flight came into Miami from London on time, but getting through customs took almost 2 hours. When we got to the counter to check our bags they said we missed the flight so we had to go stand in another 2-hour line for them to get us on another flight. The next flight wasn't until 2 p.m. the next day. The airline was unwilling to provide any assistance. After calling about my insurance policy they said I didn't have a claim, because the type of delay I experienced was not covered. I guess once a company gets my money they don't feel they have to fulfill any obligations they have to me. I was delay by no fault of my own, but yet I am out almost $400 in hotel and meals in the airport plus a lot of aggravation and commitments I missed getting home a day late. Plus, my parents who also had your insurance experienced the same loss and aggravation.

I have submitted the paperwork and have been waiting for a call. I scheduled for a call last week but did not receive the call at scheduled time or at other tim. I am still waiting to get paid for the medical visit.
We had to cancel one trip and move the insurance to the other trip. This was hard to do and got a lot of "please Call Back" or "We will Call You Back" messages before I finally got it handled.
I am waiting to hear from Tin Leg - Squaremouth regarding my stolen pocketbook and contents including wallet, cash, sunglasses, make-up, camera,etc

The process was smooth and straight forward, but most importantly, our claim representative, Kelly Calkins, was very responsive and always returned our call or email in a timely fashion.
We filed a claim, including all necessary documentation, which was handled judicially and settled promptly. The Vice President of Squaremouth emailed us to enquire whether our claim had been processed - we were impressed with his concern and happy to assure him it had already been settled. We will certainly use Tin Leg for all our future travel insurance as the website is very easy to navigate, choices are set out clearly, payment is on a safe site and the policy document is promptly confirmed and emailed.
This was very easy to obtain. I gave the wrong address on my info and emailed the changes and the followed through right away with a new card. I was glad I didn't have to use it but was glad to know it was there is needed.

I requested a one day extension on the policy and was never able to get that from either Squaremouth or Tin Leg despite several attempts and verbal assurances that it would be possible.
