When I needed to add a last minute person to a plan it was very easy. The lady on the phone was so helpful and polite. She was very patient with me as well. A great experience.
I waited the allotted amount of time after submitting my claim online before calling Travelex to ask for the status. Turns out they needed more information to process my claim, but they never made me aware of this.
Once I sent them the additional information they needed, it didn’t take them long to process my claim and send me a payment.
We had an issue with boarding at Port Canaveral and after several calls, received no assistance. Our daughter was unable to board Royal Carribean due to lost passport. We had birth certificate, social security card and Indiana Drivers license “Secured ID” and my daughter and husband had to fly home. Worse experience and the emergency hotline was not helpful at all.

Filed a claim due to my husband experiencing a dental emergency while on our Caribbean trip. The services were paid for out of pocket and within two weeks of arriving back home, the claim was filed via email. I sent over scanned receipts along with our completed claim documents. After 1 month of filing the claim, all funds were reimbursed electronically. It’s hard to find a travel insurance that actually pays out claims but I’ve finally found one and will be using Travelex through Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance moving forward. Special thanks to the knowledgeable advisor at Squaremouth who stayed on the phone with me for about an hour and helped me identify which insurance plan would be best for my trip. Thank you!
Had to file a canceled trip claim due to medical issue. Claim was processed after 5 weeks from first filing claim. Paperwork requirements were easy to understand. Very satisfied with the whole process and will use again!
It took a little longer than the 15 business days to get the claim approved, but it was in the holiday season so I can understand the delay.

Needed to ask a question when we were on our trip as there was a potential tropical storm. It took them until we returned home to respond to my emails. Luckily the storm didn’t impact us but their customer service response time was bad.

The claim process to get reimbursement for having to cancel our vacation was relatively straightforward. The claim was reviewed and processed in 5 weeks and a check received one week post processing.
They processed my claims at a reasonable time. They paid me 100% of my claim. They are reliable and they really pay.
