    Filing a claim was electronic but the available dropdown options did not really cover my issue. We will see how the process goes.

    The original air ambulance flight that was approved was at a cost of $68,900, however that plane could not make the flight due to mechanical issues and was replaced by another vendor who charged $71,000. The first flight cost was approved by you but the second was not due to your requirement for OnCall to request approval for the flight. It seems that if the first flight had mechanical issues and couldn't make it, that in the emergency situation we were in the next vendor in line should automatically be approved.

    We had to cancel our trip due to illness. I'm 6 weeks out after filing & am being told it can take 60 days for review! That's not what I signed up for. This is ridiculous!
    We got Southwest to give us a refund for our flights, so we just need the hotel & one event ticket refunded.
    Terrible, Terrible service....

    Trawick International uses a third party administrator, SureGo Administrative Services LLC, that we are not getting very quick claim processing from despite having supplied detailed information asked for. We have done this in good faith with truthful claim support for
    a claim we are insured for.

    Thank you. It was unfortunate that it took from January 24, 2025
    submission of this claim to the finalization of it on 5/21/2025. I had to resend some documents a second time.
    I originally could not submit the documents on my own through the online claim reporting program.I had to call and have customer service submit the information for me.
    Because of the claim service, I would not purchase travel insurance from Trawick again.
    I feel like the claim processing is so cumbersome in hopes that people just give up.
    I do appreciate that Squaremouth Insurance has a satisfaction guarantee. I had not realized that until Squaremouth reached out to me about my claim status and followed up a second time offering to intervene.
    Thank you for that. I recently purchased my next travel policy through Faye.

    If you're looking for a travel insurance agency and time is of the essence for the settlement of your claim, I would look elsewhere.

    My mother-in-law suddenly fell ill 4 days before our late November 2024 cruise and her doctor said that she was she was likely dying. We cancelled our cruise and my husband flew out immediately to be with her. She passed away the next morning. I filed my claim with Trawick via their claims administrator SureGo on December 12, 2024 after we received the death certificate. It was a pretty cut and dried claim and I included all of the required documentation. The electronic claims process itself was straightforward.

    I called after 30 days and I was told that the claims team was "busy" with other natural disaster claims. My state requires that travel insurance companies complete claims within 30 days, but I was originally patient. I called again at 60 days and I was supposedly "escalated" but nothing happened. I called third time at 90+ days and my claim was then escalated to a supervisor. My claim was FINALLY approved on March 19, 2025 ... 14 weeks after it was filed.

    On the positive side, Trawick did eventually pay my claim 100%. In addition, all the staff I spoke to at both Trawick and SureGo were very friendly and polite. However, the overwhelming negative is that SureGo took 3 1/2 months to process a routine claim with all the documentation.
