Tried for 3 days to connect with someone in claims but after hours on hold never got through. Called customer service & got a return call the next day with some help but overall extremely disappointing customer service.

Phyllis from the claims department was so supportive. We had to cancel our trip because we contracted Covid and the whole cancellation and claims process appeared to be daunting. She reassured me that they could handle it, directed me to forms and gave me a claims number, she greatly reduced my anxiety.

It was nice to have the piece of mind traveling if anything did go wrong

This was such an easy experience in such a stressful time. The only thing that could have been maybe a little easier is if the customer service number for Trawick was easier to find and even that wasn't bad- just compared to the rest of the experience.

I experienced great and fast customer service when I needed to adjust policy dates ahead of my trip I also received a prompt reply when I had a question about possible weather delays and coverage mid trip. Although I bought this policy for Covid protections and had never before purchased travel insurance, I would buy this again for the peace of mind it provided and the level of service I received. I’m happy my trip went off without a hitch but it was reassuring to know I had this coverage.

I had to change the dates after purchase and they were efficient and quick to respond and handle the change.

It was a little overwhelming to compare different policies. Being in the insurance business myself, I understand the importance of high ratings by rating agencies A.M. Best, Moody's etc.. and I selected Trawick for that and the fact they are underwritten by Nationwide which is a name I recognized. I did call the customer service line before I purchase to confirm some details on the delay of trip feature within the policy. I wanted to know if we couldn't get back into the states because of COVID they would absolutely pay the lodging costs for quarantine. They picked up quickly and answered my question clear and concise. I am glad we purchased the insurance for the "peace of mind" and I am glad we didn't have to make a claim.

The customer service representative I spoke with prior to travel was difficult to hear and was very short with me.
