Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
1. WHY do your advertised email addresses not work ?
I had a question about my luggage that was delayed 7 days, and I never did reach you through email.
They were "unable to be delivered". Twice? I've worn hearing **** since I was 20, so I much prefer email.
2. I was on hold at least 30 minutes to ask the agent ( very nice guy ), if I had a valid claim. I did not. I always find it aggravating when it
takes a company 2 minutes to sell you something, but 30 minutes for servicing same product. At least your agent did not waste any more
of my time.
Prompt email correspondence and reasonably priced coverage.
Easily got answer to question about changing departure date. CS was very reassuring and informative.
The gentleman I spoke with at Trawick was very helpful in helping me select the right insurance for our particular needs.
It was easy to find the right policy and gave options for price. You'll be my goto from now on when I need travel insurance.
This policy clearly stated the coverage in easy-to-understand terms. It was a fair price compared to others. I did have an injury while traveling internationally and had to contact customer support from the hospital. They were sympathetic and empathetic and helped me create a case number on the spot. It was one less thing I had to worry about. Now that I’m home from traveling I intend to submit a small claim for the hospital bill. Based on the customer service so far, I expect it to be straight-forward. I’m very glad I purchased this insurance policy and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again in the future.
I lost my iPad on this trip. When I called to file a claim, I was told the iPad was not covered. I wish I had known this before buying the policy!
I suggest reading the fine print before purchasing a policy from this site.
Claim process was not very user friendly. Customer service hours are limited. Submitted the claim on Nov. 15 still not heard back today (Dec. 14). Also called customer service two weeks after submission, and was assured that it will be processed within 3-4 weeks.
Hopefully I'll hear back soon.
Very difficult to even find the correct company to file a claim with since the policy turned out not to be in Trawick's name. I filed the claim in mid October. A few week ago I heard from Nationwide, rep, I think, saying they had just started reviewing October claims. When you go to ?Natoinwide's website, there is not dropdown for filing a travel claim. Apparently travel claims are handled by yet another subcontractor. My policy is a cancel for any reason one. It should not take much of a review. I received a membership number from Trawick. , but I have never been able to get it recognized by Trawick.
Our trip was cancelled due to the pandemic. Trawick refunded our money immediately with an email from travel agent saying the trip was cancelled. Still waiting for the cruise line to refund money, which takes up to 90 days after the cancellation notice.
