Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
Customer Service agent was extremely helpful in helping me select the right policy.
I filed a claim, providing full info.
Trawick - via Nationwide - asked for additional info that was beyond the claim. I replied that I had sent relevant info. No response as of this date (5 Nov 2021)
Thus far unsatisfied with process and response.

I supplied the required info but claim was not processed.
Claim is for Covid test.
I started processing the claim in August before I travelled in September because the initial flights I had paid for from USA to UK were cancelled - so I had to rebook going through different UK airport - Heathrow - so I could not use the train tickets I had purchased from Manchester Airport - where I was originally scheduled to fly into. I was still able to use the insurance because I was able to re-schedule my trip for the same dates - but since I had a cancel for any reason policy - I claimed for the train tickets at $75. I have had a couple of emails saying the claim was in process but no payment yet.
Last minute change from travel to Spain becoming travel to Mexico instead. The change was easy and quick.
I purchased insurance for a 2 week trip to Greece months in advance of the trip. I was emailed the policy and reviewed the terms of the policy. However I did not look at the dates of the policy and that was my error. A week before the tour I printed the policy and noticed the The dates were only for 2days. I called Squaremouth and they were very helpful and contacted Trawyck who charged me an additional $40 fee to correct the error. I know I should have reviewed the dates but this error should have not happened. Nobody would book a 2 day trip. Additional fee should not have been charged for that obvious error.
It took more than 3 months to review and approve a small, simple claim. Communication during that time was minimal.
Besides booking, no interaction.
You questionnaire should also have an option to say (don't know), (did not use), (not applicable) or something of that sort.
I rated a 3, because I did not have any contact, so I should not be forced to put a rating.
Contacted customer service with some questions and they ended up recommended a different, more appropriate package that saved me some money - thanks! Trip went well so didn't use the insurance.
Fortunately, did not file any claims hence, our only interaction was in obtaining the insurance package. Selecting a policy was relatively easy via the web. Cannot speak to whether or not we selected a policy that covered all possible situations because none arose.
I contacted Trawick after making a change to my destination and slight change in dates - they were easy to reach and helpful. I was issued a small refund since the trip was one day shorter. I found the materials describing the plan easy to read and helpful.
