Thank s for a great experience
My flight was cancelled and i was forced to purchase a different flight last minute. I filed a claim with Trawick International on 10/11/2024 right after i got home from my tour. I sent all the documentation to proof cancellation and cost difference. Today is 03/27/2025. Nobody even contacted me during those 6 months! I keep calling their claim department and they keep saying to call back in a month... in a week... etc. What a shame!!! Very disapointed with their service!!!
Squaremouth is a company I count on to help me with my trip insurance!
I did need to reach out to Trawick insurance company. They were considerate and helpful with my questions and needs.
It’s a Blessing to find a company with respect theses days.
Thank you Squaremouth
Frustrating and confusing process and website overall. Makes no sense that you purchase insurance to cover your vacation being interrupted or canceled due to hurricanes and when one hits and shuts down your destination ports the claim is denied because you happen to be on the ship and at least some services were provided.
I filled out and sent my the claim about 5 weeks ago. After 3 weeks I called to follow up, said they will contact me
to let me know. Now that has been 5 weeks, I still don’t hear anything regarding my claim yet.
find language of policy deceiving and claim process VERY UNREASONABLE AND IS VERY TIME CONCEIVING SO AS TO DISCOURAGE FILING CLAIMS AND HAS CONVINCED ME INSUANCE OF THIS TYPE IS USELESS AND I HAVE WAISTED THOUSANDS IN THE PAST DECADE.I WILL SPEND WHATEVER TIME IS NECESARRY TO POST SUCH IN REVIEWS

Felt misled in wording of policies. The fine print is not revealed until after the policy is purchased. I have a understanding for the future and will probably be purchasing travel insurance less often.
Claim process sucks. 6 weeks no action. Already contacted your zero complaint department. They are useless. They have received same answers as me. Nothing. All talk no action. Will certainly never consider squaremouth or traywick ever again.
I will continue seeking resolution of claim.
Experience was good in purchasing. No claims or problems. Tks.
Claim was paid w/in 3 weeks. Simple online process. It was a small $500 claim.
However, there is no way to see the progress that the claim is taking. Didn't get any response when I asked a question via email. Didn't see any where to 'log in' to see progess or anywhere to know how long to wait for the claim to be paid (3 weeks or 3 months).... the check just showed up in the mailbox. It would have been nice to at least have gotten an email..... "you're claim has been processed & a check should be arriving in your mail within the next week"
I went thru a travel claim process once before (when my mother-in-law died when we were overseas & needed to get home) that process took 3 months with a lot of back & forth email & phone calls. So, when it was not possible to get any contact with your company to make sure I had sent in correct documentation, it made me wonder...... how long do I wait to find out if I'm getting reimbursement or did I miss something in my claim & need to add more documentation......
I went to Iceland, and it was a pricey trip. It is good to know you are covered for health or last minute developments. My big worry was the news of (intermittent) volcanic activity relatively near to our destination airport and the capitol city. I called customer service and only got a vague answer as to whether an eruption would be compensable as an 'unexpected' event vs. a predictable risk not included. Ultimately, it wasn't going to change my plans, so I'm glad I didn't have to find out.
