I tried to fill out a claim form online . I had problems, so a printed out forms and mailed them in with all necessary documents.
Purchased primary medical insurance only for a short trip to Aruba. My mother got sick (sun poisoning/dehydration) the day before we were supposed to leave. We went to see a local doctor for $125 cash. Filed the claim when we returned and received payment within 3 weeks.

2 months after I filed a claim still no timely communication about the claim status. They keep requesting additional documentation I've already provided them.
Our claim was just filed, and it remains to be seen how we ultimately view our experience.
We had to cancel our trip because of illness.
Trawick made it fairly easy to file a claim online.
We were delayed over 24 hours on our return flight ( no fault of ours). All the paperwork has been sent in twice and Nationwide Travel keeps wanting more information. I have sent everything with receipts. Boarding passes, receipts of cost of trips and insurance, signed documents , receipts of extra expenses twice and received a notice today to do this again. Not sure why this is problem as I was told on the phone trip delay was covered.

I had to cancel my cruise due to recently diagnosed cancer that required prompt treatment. I filed a claim as instructed and received full payment. My only complaint is they did not notify me along the way what the status of my claim was. I received a simple confirmation of receipt with no indication how long processing would take. I called several times to find out the status. Received check after about 7 weeks.
Submitted initial claim in December 2023, which was denied. Filed an appeal in February/March 2024 and that claim had been pending due to agents asking for additional documentation. Upon submission of additional documentation, the clock restarts and I am being told I have to either wait an additional 15-30 days. This experience has been awful and I will NEVER use carrier sgain.
