I spent hours getting every piece of paperwork that was requested. Of course, it wasn't enough. then you sent email requesting more paperwork. I sent everything that Knightly Tours sent me. Everything from the emergency clinic. EOB from my insurance showing what they paid. The travel agent sent new additional airline ticket costs to change flights home. I sent additional information. called to check and was told call back after 10/24/23. Of course haven't reviewed yet. All delay tactics so as not to pay the claim. i don't know that i would use this insurance again.
After filing a claim, I have heard NOTHING from the company other than an automated email that contained virtually no information.

I filled a claim with Nationwide using Co-Ordinated Benefits website. I sent all of the documents I have but they want more proof that I cannot obtain. I will continue to try and get the claim approved . The amount is minor compared to the face value since I was able to cancel with no or limited penalties.
I have submitted claim #983101577-2012460 on Tuesday, October 14, 2023 - Our return flight from CDG to ORD was cancelled by American Airlines and booked for following day - I call the Trawick Customer Service when I returned and had good service and insight on how to file the Trip Delay Claim. I am requesting the cost of unplanned lodging and taxi due to this delay in Paris and any other compensation I am due. Documents have been submitted under this claim.
Claim filed 9-28-23 and as of today, 10-16-23, have not heard from them except that the claim was received. Not happy about lack of communication.
So far not very happy with it because I sent in a ton of information. Then they wanted more information which I sent. This was weeks ago. They only owe us $6000 in the light of money today. However, it is a lot for us not to mention how sad we are not to be able to take the trip because my husband was (and still is) not well. (fortunately it happened at home here in the U.S. not on the ship). I realize the insurance companies don't want fraudulent claims but the delay is not very comforting.
