  • Trawick International policy: Safe Travels Journey

    We have filed a claim for trip interruption as we had to leave the trip less than half way through due to my husband testing positive for covid. We have submitted information, as requested in detail. I will be interested in seeing how this process with Trawich insurance goes. We chose the policy and provider, as it appeared to be a well thought out plan, covering as needed. Happy to finalize review after our claim is processed and paid.

    Very difficult to reach customer service. Online claims site is not user friendly. Claims process appears to take significantly longer than other companies.

    I'm pleased with the settlement. I know they must have been busy, so I understand the 6 weeks to issue a check, but the CBP Connect website was unable to report the status of my claim.

    Took awhile, but took everything into account and results were very acceptable.

    I had no problem purchasing the insurance. I purchased in October for an april trip. My husband became ill and we had to cancel. I have filed a claim and am still waiting for my refund. I feel that I have done all of the necessary paper work and following all of the prompts. I a, very discouraged. we have been traveling for 50 years and never had an insurance problem.

    I got Covid and had to cancel our trip. I submitted a claim via mail about 2 weeks ago
    Got an email indicating claim had been received. I keep checking online but no additional update,
    Checking reviews about claims most everyone states it difficult to contact them and it’s takes a minimum of 60-90 for anyone to look at your claim. Many reviews stated it had been 6 months or more and claim was still pending.
    If I’d read the reviews before purchasing I would have looked for another insurance company

    All paperwork has been submitted to NWTravClaims at cbpins dot com for claim number 168032 7/27/23. I received automated reply stating they are busy. I have not received any additional info until your e-mail. I do not know how long this type of claim usually takes. Please advise if you require any additional information.     I was glad I had this insurance as was unexpectedly hospitalized shortly before our trip. Two months later, still getting back to health. You never know when something will happen. This was one less thing to stress about. Alot of info to e-mail Trawick but service was good and paid within a month of my final paperwork to them. I will definitely purchase this again on our big trips. Thank you, Maureen
