I sent my claim via email as was listed as an option on the claim form. I received confirmation email of receipt but nothing else. I had to call in after a month of no communication to determine the status of my claim. I never received a claim number, but they were able to locate my claim with my policy number. My checks arrived 2 weeks later. This is why I gave 4 stars. If they want you to file your claim online, they should state that on the forms you need to print and fill out.
Obtaining insurance quotes, comparing policies, and purchasing a product is very easy using Squaremouth. In 2023 I filed a claim for trip interruption costs and it was paid in full within 3 weeks. I have been using Squaremouth for the last five years.
I submitted a claim on 4/13 and I have not heard back from them. I sent an email requesting an update three days ago and have still not heard from anyone. I’m not happy

The claim form was difficult to use, and only allowed one page per topic. I needed to send more than one page. My claim was paid in full, for which I am very happy. But the communication was poor. The company did not respond to my inquiry about my claim in a timely manner.

Filed claim with Coordinated Benefit Plans LLC as instructed on April 8 so it will be 3 weeks on Saturday. They sent an automated email response. No news since.
Had to cancel trip due to husband's death. Had some difficulty getting through the automated phone system. Once able to talk with live person, I was sent the necessary paperwork to complete for Nationwide-who was very prompt in paying claim.
This is my second time purchasing this insurance and the first time submitting a claim. I am happy with the way they handled and will be choosing again in the future for my next trip.
We filed the claim a week after returning home. To our surprise, the check came in the mail two weeks later. Awesome.
I found the online claim form difficult to use. After I had attached all of the documents requested, only two of them were actually attached. I then sent an e-mail with the missing documents. I called Customer Service who told me they could not check to see if all of the documents were received. Several days later, I received an email requesting the additional documents I had already sent. I attached the documents again. I received my check within two weeks.
I am so thankful and grateful for the 24 hour travel assist since I ended up breaking my ankle while on my trip and the service was perfect with bringing me back hime with a nurse on plane. I want to continue to thank and thank for the while service.
