Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
I was not getting any response from them. I contacted Squaremouth and was helped immediately and just received my payment today.
Very slow response time on their end and when I finally heard back from them they’re requiring duplicate information
I did not go on my trip as I broke my wrist before departure. I received partial refund from Vacations to Go and several form letters from Trawick during and after filing claim. No response to my correspondence. I called Squaremouth and have a phone meeting. Scheduled for next week. Not very happy with Trawick response to date.
My only real complaint was the insurer (Trawick Int) saying they would respond within 48 hours to a written inquiry after a few months of no information and then taking weeks to actually reply. Not particularly impressed with insurance that paid out less than I paid for the insurance on a well documented $ loss after a maintenance issue flight delay caused us to miss the full first paid day of our trip.
Absolute worst claim experience I have ever had......60 days to even look at the claim

Needless to say I did not use you for my trip insurance for next year as I have already booked and purchased from another vendor
I contacted Trawick International through the internet and filed the claim for the cancelation of the trip. I sent all of the requested
information and attachments that they needed to complete the claim filing. I have not received any information back from Trawick
to date. That has been about 5 weeks ago that I submitted the claim. Please let me know what information is available on processing

Trawick uses a third party to process their claims and the the process is cumbersome and not user friendly.
I can't rate this plan because I currently have a claim submitted. I will give a follow up after it has or has not been to my satisfaction. Previous policies through Trawick gave me comfort knowing that i would be covered if something went wrong and at a reasonable price, Now I will see. On this trip (cruise) something did. My wife tested positive for covid on day four and both of us were quarantined to our room for 3 days. Carnival did an excellent job with medical, guest services, housekeeping and room service. They did offer a Future Cruise Credit for the three days, but that is only on the fare, not total price paid, fare, taxes, fees and tips, which is about 30% of the 3 days total charges. My claim was submitted for the total of three days. Again I will post after, but I feel that there will not be a problem and everything will be done to my satisfaction.
We could not go our travelled vacation on August 3rd because my wife had a an illness that her doctors recommended against travel. We filed a claim several weeks and have not heard anything regarding the claim because they stated they were very busy. Could you please let us know what is happening with our claim. Thanks.

Trip canceled due to a positive Covid test prior to boarding ship. Claim submitted immediately however they are experiencing a “high volume” of claims so I’ve been waiting for a response.
