Never again will I buy trip insurance from Trawick. My doctor informed me that I would not be able to fly or visit
Mexico City because of oxygen issues. I immediately contacted Trawick, told them that the hotel I had reserved canceled my reservation without charge, so the only claim would be for airfare. Only after trying numerous times to get a refund from Aeromexico whose only option was a voucher which I would be unable to use, did I contact Trawick. They sent me a form to complete which I submitted along with my doctor’s report. I received one notice about their large volume of claims. Then nothing. I contacted them again with no response. Finally, I called and was told my claim was being processed and not to expect anything for at least 60 days. So, they have my money and don’t even have the courtesy to respond. My friend who was traveling with me has received her refund. Terrible service from Trawick.

I filed a claim as soon as I got home because I missed the entire festival I was traveling for due to COVID. I haven't heard anything about the status of my claim (beyond the confirmation email I got when I filed). There's no information about it on the customer portal.

They said to expect to wait a long time for my claim to be reviewed. Not good service!
Not particularly responsive from a timeliness perspective to processing claims. Told
me could be 60+ days before my claim is processed. Web submission form for the claim did not function properly and only captured and submitted the first line of the expenses expanding table, and caused me to incur additional work to correct.
I booked a Princess transfer bus from Vancouver to Seattle Airport. The bus transfer got us to the airport late and we missed our flight and had to book another flight for that evening. So I think this case falls into Trip Interruption category.
I was not able to get to my cruise on time due to flight delays. I file my claim 2 weeks ago and have heard NOTHING.

This is a TERRIBLE Company. I was not able to make my cruise because of constant delays with the airline. I took this policy incase this would happen and was told it covered this concern.. Even the cruise line said I had a claim yet I was denied reimbursement by this company. I will NEVER use travel insurance again.
I was unable to reach anyone at Trawick by telephone, so I filed a claim online. However, there was no place for me to explain the circumstances for my claim. There was just a dropdown menu for me to select one of their reasons. So, the basis of my claim wasn't explained by me. I was supposed to go on a cruise with a friend, but her father got diagnosed with severe dementia that was proceeding rapidly, and she was told that he was dying. I cancelled my trip because she couldn't go because she had to take care of her father, and she didn't know when he would die. I got a refund for my cruise and my airfare. However, I had paid $219.63 for a transportation service to and from the cruise ship. I was told on the phone that if I cancelled the transportation in advance of the trip, that I would get a refund. I cancelled on April 2. The service was supposed to be provided on June 26. This was well in advance. However, when I cancelled, I got an email that informed me that they were currently not giving refunds. They were only giving credits to my account. They changed the contract to read that during Covid19 and until it passed, they were not giving refund. This was done after the fact. I looked in my account and the credit is not there. I emailed the company again, and they emailed me again and instructed me to look in my account. I did, and it is not there. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and it took them over two months to hear back from the company. My credit card company, Citibank, will not remove the charge from my account. Consequently, I filed a claim with Trawick. I tried every method I could think of to get my money back. The name if the company is GetTransfer. I emailed Trawick a copy of the bill I paid for the service, and a copy of the document I received after I cancelled the service that said that I was refunded on the bottom of the page.

They told me it would take up to four weeks to settle my claim. It has been over five weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them.
