It has been over a month since I filed my claim and I have followed up multiple times and never heard back.
After waiting 2 hours on hold for someone to help us get a claim filed, we were told to email customer service. Well, it has been almost 7 days and I have yet to get a reply from my email or a call or anything from a representative. Again, when I called for help, I was referred to send an email again but no reply. This is very fustrating and not what I expected. Just poor customer service. So, as of today, I am still waiting to hear from someone so I know how to proceed with my claim. Once I found the correct phone number to call to check on my claim, things went smoothly. I worked with Kevin most of the time. He and his colleagues were great with communicating the process to me. Highly recommend
My daughter became ill while we were away and hospital staff worked with trawick international to get us processed and taken care of right away.
Mailed in my claim....25 pages. We did not go as I injured my spine.
I had a flight suspended due to the unexpected closure of Tahiti, resulting in us losing our non-refundable hotel stay. After submitting a claim based on an indefinite trip delay by the common carrier (i.e. airline), Trawick/Nationwide denied the claim. I am an attorney that does insurance coverage work, and the basis for the denial is pretexutal at best, and at worst an obvious "deny first" company policy to weed out the less-educated claimants. I am appealing the decision and plan to litigate and submit an insurance department complaint if needed.
I have called twice to inquire about filing a claim. A nice lady helped me the first time by looking at my policy and hearing the details of my travel delay. But in the end she just gave me another number to call for Trawick International customer service. I called and a recording came on that said there was no one to answer the phone. I left a message for a call back. It has been 3 days and I haven’t had a call back. Poor service I’d say.
I still didn't receive refund for my air tickets my vacation been canceled in December 1 2020,because of critical medical issues.
