I cancelled my trip to Israel for the obvious reasons. Claim has been filed and acknowledged, but have been told that long delays are likely due to the increased volume o claims they are experiencing.

I submitted the claim on 3/31---cancelling my Israel trip because of terrorist attacks. I enclosed documentation showing at least one attack on 2/6. That was well within the 30 days required by the policy.
I was contacted by email several times, twice asking me for the same documentation I had sent to them previously. I finally called and a very competent CSR called and found out where the claim was, and that it would be expedited to the reviewer. That meant that I would have an answer by the end of that week (4/24). Good news, I thought. Not so---I got an email instead of a check.
They denied saying the US Gov site did not indicate a terrorism attack. It was a level 2 warning then, now it only addresses the CO19 warnings. I had sent them numerous new stories, papers, quotes, etc. documenting increased terrorism in the country....including Jerusalem.
I immediately responded to that email appealing that denial, and am now once again waiting for my money. Impatiently waiting!! Isn't 2 months long enough? Why can't they call me instead of sending these redundant emails, the last one a denial.
All flights were canceled on my way to Spain. Hoping for reimbursement
My trip was canceled because Israel was closed for quarantine
I was trying to reach insurance, it was impossible to call or make a claim
Terrible experience
I´m still here in Spain. I have not received any help from you whatsoever. I´m running out of money and you know the situation is getting worse here in Spain concerning the virus and yet you have not reached out to me to see if I´m safe nor have you supplied with any finantial stability while i was here. I haven´t received no finantial help whatsoever . I´m still waiting for an answer and giving the costs of trip cancellation.
Douglas, I am sorry to hear that you were not able to get back to the USA when your trip was over 7 days ago. If you want assistance, you need to contact ON Call – the assistance company as listed on your policy and ID card. They can help you get cash advances from your credit cards or funds from family members to help with the week of extra expenses. Unfortunately, if you do not contact them – there is no way for them to know that you have not returned.
You may be entitled to claim some benefits under your policy for travel delay (up to $500) if certain conditions are met.
I will be contacting this company to see if they did receive all of the documentation I sent. I will call them tomorrow because they said it takes at least 14 days for the info to be put into the computer. I cant really comment about how the service is yet. I gave it a 2 rating for how satisfied we are with the claim process because we have not dealt with the company yet. I had to put in a star rating. It would not let me submit without it.
My initial flight was delayed for so long that I missed my second flight and had to rebook it at full cost . I immediately called Trawick and after explaining my situation was given a second number to call. This call was to direct me to the correct insurance company, I called that number and - After calling that number and speaking with a claims expert, I was emailed a claim form which I filed immediately. Upon arriving home- I received no follow up, so I called for follow up. I remailed the form with the appropriate paperwork. I am currently awaiting some response.

My flight was delayed 1 day. When I contacted the insurance company I was given clear instructions on what to do to have my claim processed. The representative I talked to on the phone was very polite, sympathetic and easy to understand. They answered all my questions and spoke knowledgeably regarding my concerns. Within moments of finishing the call, I was emailed a form to fill and instructions regarding what paperwork was necessary to send. I was told that after my claim was received any correspondence would be done via email. I filled out the easy to understand form, photocopied all my paperwork- receipts etc. and mailed my package
Within 3 weeks I received my claim check in the mail. A very smooth and straightforward transaction.
We are very happy with the professionalism and quick response from Trawick and Nationwide Insurance.
It was like I had to give them a kidney painful.I tried to explain my condition and sent all documents only to be told I didn’t put my name on the front of a document whereas all documents stated my name and when I called I identified my identity.Very poot
We had a basic influenza positive for my wife Patricia. She had 102 fever and other symptoms. The ships doctor gave both off us medication, my wife had one extra medication.
She was isolated for two days and now is cured.
Monday we mailed the claim forms and requested medical records.
We are waiting for email confirming Trawick has the mailed documents, diagnosis confirmation and is processing refund regarding the medical expenses.
The medical fee was automatically charged to my registered credit charge.
Hopefully the refund will be processed quickly.
I called to inquire about filing a claim. Their representative was good, very responsive, providing ample information needed to file a claim.
