Yes I gave 5 Stars because it was excellent service, they ask me to send all the documents pertaining to the travel involve I send them, there was the investigation time, less than 20 days, and today in my mail there where the cheks for the full amount that I was force to spend to return home. I usually purchase my travel insurance from Trawick and this time needed to use. The entire claim process was easy. Very satisfied!
We filed a claim, due to my husband's critical heart issues. His cardiologist "prohibited " travel. We have not heard anything, as yet, about our claim. It was, however, filed less than 2 weeks ago. Our travel agent, Travel with Alan, in Lynwood, WA, was extremely helpful with this claim.
On August 24th my wife fell and had a complicated pelvic and hip fracture. She was operated on August 29, was in rehab for 14 days and is still confined into a wheelchair. We had to cancel our cruise and filed a claim with Trawick International. We received the claim forms on the internet and filled them out. On page 2 they have a large section to be filled out by the attending physician. We are with Kaiser Permanente, which has a large presence in our area. They are almost like the government. My wife did not have just one attending physician, she had two surgeons and several other doctors seeing her.
We had a letter from Kaiser and also from the rehab that she is unable to travel, but Trawick insisted on having that section filled out by the attending physician. I took me a while to find the right department for this and we waited about three weeks to get the form back. We mailed all of this plus copies of the visa statements of the travel expenses to Trawick on Tuesday September 10th and have not heard back from them.

We would have given Trawick 5 starts, but the process was so cumbersome. They made us jump through a lot of loops, demending information of over half a page to be filled out by the attending surgeon plus other requests. My wife had two or three surgeons and other attending physicians and it took a lot of me running around to have this demand filled. We have Kaiser Permanente, which has a huge presence here in Southern California. It was almost like dealing with the government. But in the end, all is well that ends well and yesterday we received the two checks and we are happy. Thanks for checking up on Trawick.

We hd to cancel our trip due to the sudden and unexpected illness of my mother-in-law. I contacted Trawick and filed a claim in July. I sent all the requested info whick wasa considerable amount. I did not hear from them in weeks. Finally I was ocntacted by email asking for additional info which I sent. then I got another email asking for the sam info again. When I contacted them by phone they said thdy had the info and the email was a mistake. I am still waiting for them to settle our claim.

While Trawick did require quite a bit of back up information for the claim, once it was provided they processed the claim promptly. I would encourage anyone purchasing travel insurance to keep good records, including email and on-line transactions in case they have to file a claim later.
