Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
We were unable to complete our trip due to an accident. We have filed a claim with Trawick International and have not received any communications regarding the claim. I am not satisfied !

I am waiting to hear about my claim.
Had to cancel trip because of husband's illness. Sent all information on forms June 30. I finally called to verify their receipt on July 6 and was told material was with final examiner. I called August 7 and they said had not received all information. Husband resent information and I had travel company send even more information. August 17 I called and was told one paper from company was unreadable. I told the person how to read it and she agreed all information was there.
Told material would go to final examiner again. finally received checks from Trawick dated 9-04-18.
There were too many forms and contacting doctor and travel company multiple times to verify everything that I had sent lead to frustration. I had copied all receipts and checks in original sent papers.
We will not use Trawick again. We have never had trouble with the square mouth site.
Hi Mary Lee, I looked into the circumstances involving your claim and I wanted to clarify to see if we need to review the claim process to be faster. What I found was that CBP received the claim on July 6, 2018. The claim was worked on July 27, 2018 (within 15 working days) and sent for final audit. They show you called in on July 31, 2018 and were advised that the claim was under a final review. On August 7, 2018 the auditor advised to examiner that a Physician Statement would be needed as it was not included in the original paperwork received on July 6. They needed documents which would include when the incident occurred, as well as an itinerary and invoice from the travel supplier verifying the dates of travel, the traveler’s names and the cost of the trip. It is not uncommon for claims to need documentation to establish the complete loss and who paid for what and when. It is noted that an e-mail was sent to you on August 7, 2018 requesting this information. As you stated in your review – you had to send in additional documents. These documents were received on August 20 making the claim complete at that time. It was processed on August 27 and approved for payment on September 1 and a check was cut and mailed to you on September 4. I hope this helps you and others understand the claim processing a little better.
Months after filing our claim, we have received only part of the money's due. The only activity occurs when I phone in. If nothing happens to my latest voicemail, I'm contacting the Georgia State insurance commissioner's office.

I have never in my life experienced such incompetence! It required six months of frustrating effort to finally secure the final settlement. Zero complaints department is aptly named;. after contacting Adam Rusin about our diffulties, he never responded to anything, didn't answer the phone or voice mail. Brandi Morse didn't help. I feel entitled to a salary because I managed my own claim. I only wish I had received minimum wage for all the time I spent resolving this claim
I put one claim in in April 2018, and i still did not get money back or any information after a few emails were exchanged.
I SQUARE MOUTH.IS ONE OF THE BEST TRAV,INSURANCE,
THE POLICY IS EXCELLENT,,BUT THE PEOPLES THAT ARE WORKING FOR, NOT COMPLY WITH THE COMPANY RULES,
I FILED A CLAIM ON JULY 13 ,THEY SUPPOSE REVIEW THE CLAIM IN 15 DAYS, AS TODAY I DID NOT RECEIVE NOT EVEN A REPLY TO MY EMAILS FROM A CLAIMS EXAMINER, I WILL APPRECIATE YOUR HELP,,,,,,, MY CLAIM NUMBER IS; 30232
We had to pay $2800 for the overnight hospital visit and the 2 procedures performed. Case reference 247670 Policy #604358770 and do not see where GBG covered any of our medical expenses.
Claim was handled with only a slight delay from what was indicated (30 days, but actually received information in about 38 days). I received an email from them with all of their decisions, payment information, etc. It was set so that I could not print, copy, or upload this information! This made it difficult to compare what they were saying against what we had submitted. We needed to see their document on a piece of paper.
The only item they did not pay for on our claim was 2 meals that we had to purchase because of being delayed and not flying out on our original flight. We had to stay an additional 2 days before catching the next flight back to the US from Indonesia. They paid our hotel bill and transportation to the airport. Why not cover the two meals - very inexpensive, too! Just seemed picky to us.

I had to cancel my trip due to the political unrest and violence in Nicaragua. I filled a claim, and it was rejected. I was told that my policiey did not cover political unrest.
