Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
Was not represented correctly. Agent stressed emergency services such as life flight etc.,nevermentioning day to day illnesses were not covered. All other travel policies we have purchased have always covered health issues faced while traveling. Will not. recommend to friends
Because of my illness, I could not fly to San Francisco to catch the boat, we had to cancel our full trip 2 days before sailing. We have been in touch with Claims Examiner /NB in March 22nd, who provided us with the necessary information to file a full claim. We sent all that paperwork in on March 27th requesting a return receipt. We received that receipt showing J. Potter signed for this at your Tampa office on April 2nd. We have heard nothing more from your company since then.

We show your claim was received vis USPS on 04/02/18 and worked on 04/20/18 (15 business days). That same day a request for needed information was emailed to you. You sent the required information recently and your claim has been processed for payment. Please contact a Trawick representative if you have not received your reimbursement by 5/20/18.
Dear Square Mouth Customer Service:
Unfortunately we cancel our trip by medical reasons. We made claim to Trawick International Co, and they sent us promptly the form and list of documents, needed to be sent. We've sent them all needed documents March 28 by mail and still wait their answer if they received our documents.
If you are interesting about our claim you can contact us in 4 weeks.
thank you very much

Trawik International company unfortunately does not understand the nature of lymphoma type illnesses., referring to preexisting conditions. The lymphoma are slow going illness and easy get a treatment, allowing the patient feel quite normal and lives a normal live without any restrictions. However to keep the patient healthy the doctor requests periodically some tests, after which the patient may have temporally problems, usually 1-2 weeks. But it does not mean, that the patient has any restrictions to travel ets.
We had to cancel our trip because of a serious medical problem. We submitted all the forms but have not heard from the insurance company. It has been three and a half weeks since I mailed the forms. Is this to be expected?
Easy to work with. Competitive rate. Responsive.
Happy.
I submitted my claim back in November of 2017. I have contacted GBG aka Trawick multiple times regarding my claim. They have yet to process my claim completely, and it is now February 2018. The representatives I speak to are very nice but aren't the ones doing any of the processing. All they can do is ask me to give them my claim documents again via email and forward emails to the claims/customer service department and request that the claim be processed. However, it's a black box after that. Every time they contact me they tell me that they will get back to me in 7-10 business days. But every time they do contact me, it's to tell me that my claim is being processed. How many times do I have to email them my claim and how long does it take to process a claim??? I am very frustrated and annoyed with this Trawick/GBG.
My claim was delivered 2/3/2018. So far there has been no response.
Thank you for taking the time to review Trawick International – Nationwide 3-n-1 Plan. It is noted that you mailed the original claim to the wrong address on 2/3. Once it was figured out, a new claim was received at the correct address on 3/16/18. That claim was missing some information but the examiner reached out to your tour operator for more information and the claim was processed for payment on 4/19/18. Please Contact us if you have questions - 888-301-9289
Our flight was delayed 9 hours. Because of the delay we arrived at 3:00A.M. . Our transportation from the airport was no longer available. Trawick covered the cost in a timely manner. I was very pleases.
I filed a damaged baggage claim, still haven't heard back from them.
Shane, in order for the policy to cover a hurricane you have to purchase the insurance coverage before they named it. In your case they named hurricane Irma on August 30,2017 which was before you bought the insurance coverage on 9/4. This plan won’t cover any trip cancellation once the storm was named. Perhaps you can get some of your money back from the airline. You should contact them and see what they can do.
Kind Regards,
Jane

Tickets were purchased on August 30th, but the airline does not offer travel insurance , so it took me 4 days to find a company and purchase travel insurance. Much of the delay was caused by my local agent who did not want me to outsource a new company .That's what caused the delay. But the tickets were purchased on the 30th of August.
