During the trip from Oct 13 to Oct 29 in Spain. My partner, Claude yuan ping Lee , did sick pretty bad and sent to emergency room for treatment. This event happened several issues,
1. We can not speak their language, so our tour guide accompanied all the time did translation. She charge 6 hours service for 300 euros.
2. Taxi to and from hotel to hospital total 30 euros.
3. Emergency room did not ask us to pay only gave us a registration sheet and request send proof of insurance to their authority.
All the above situation had been reported to your office together with receipts and all the documents.

It was very challenging to file a claim. I purchased travel insurance for 4 people/travellers. One of them (my sister) was unable to travel because of medical emergency of her husband. I had to send an e mail to find the site for filing a claim. I am still waiting for the resolution of my claim.

I will not select Trawick for travel insurance anymore. I tried to file a claim from abroad and when I was back home. The website wouldn't let me register my policy. I had to call their 800 number but they couldn't straighten it out. So they sent me an Adobe form that I now need to print and then mail in my claims forms.
Luckily I had a secondary policy with Clement Hermando and with their mobile app it took me 2 minutes to file the claims electornically.
I am so very grateful that I am able to get a very reasonable travel insurance for medical emergencies without getting full travel insurance. Since I book my own trips and places, I can easily cancel those so full coverage is not needed.
My husband's name was misspelled on our first policy and after contacting customer service, it was quickly fixed.

We are currently stuck in Nagasaki Japan, as of Oct 30, it has been 28 days, We are in the Nagasaki Harbor medical center, we where cleared to travel back home 2 weeks ago, we where first told we would be traveling back to CA by air Ambulance, then it changed to commercial with assisted medical with 2 nurses, then back to AA and then back to commercial, this has happen a number of time, and I have lost count, as of Oct 28 we are trying to setup a commercial stretcher flying, but are now being told you will not cover the flight and will have to pay out of pocket if the Airline approves it.
We want to go home, the hospital wants us to go home, we have been talking to On Call who from what I understand is the middle person is all this.
We want help and we got the insurance so we would have piece of mind in case something happened. But now everyone is saying there is nothing they do to get us home.

Due to my wife’s fall and medical care we had to file a claim. Every medical expenses abroad was reimbursed at the end but in 3 different checks and without a clear explanation of what the checks corresponded to. In the end it all added up and relatively fast.
