The experience with World Trips has been great. We had to file a claim due to a weather delay for a cruise. My only “complaint” is that Cbp Connect that handles the claim provides no updates except when claim is processed. You can’t see any progression or even that a claim was filed online.

CBP Connect was the third party that handled the claim. There were no updates along the way. The website only shows claim after it’s processed which isn’t helpful. I had to resubmit information I originally provided. That delayed the claim further. When I called to speak to customer service and was told it would be expedited due to length of time and would receive decision in 3 days, it took another week. Overall the process was unorganized and frustrating.

The 24 hour assistance was at times a little difficult to deal with, a lot of back and forth, I think ultimately rebooking the flight myself might have been easier, there was a lot of "we have a flight for you at this time" and then getting back to me with "there's been a price hike on that flight". They did eventually get it all together, and it was nice to be able to have them worrying about it in the background while I concentrated on other things, and they found something a bit cheaper than what I had been able to find online.

My daughter experienced acute stomach pain. I tried to schedule an appointment with a doctor, and none of the doctors on your small list were available. She ended up having an emergency appendectomy, and I had to borrow money to pay out of my pocket.
Your company makes it impossible to get the assistance that we needed and pay the bill.

My experience with Squaremouth has been fine. My experience filing this claim has been very challenging. Their response time has been terrible and I feel like they are giving me the run around and hoping that I will give up.

In the end, I received a check for my claim but communication was not great. Customer service reps weren't available so you have to leave a message and no one returned my call. The website to check the status of the claim also didn't work.

Trying to log in to their member portal for claim, unable to do so and the policy account was locked. Sent an email to request unlock, no respond. Called the customer service, keep on asking me to log in to member portal even they knew my policy is locked.

They eventually paid up, but the process was slow and laborious. Required multiple communications, which included requests for "more information" even though that information had already been clearly labelled and provided. Then, no response for a while and suddeny a check showed up in the mail.
The purchasing process was easy peasy, I did file a claim due to flight delays, missed connection flight and having to stay overnight in my connecting city. I’ll let you know how the claim goes.
