24 hour assistance never came though and provided the list of urgent care in Milos Greece as he promised. Luckily the hotel staff helped we were able to get the help we needed. All fine and was a minor issue.
24 hour assistant should not declare his action to help which he had no intention of following.
I filed a claim over one month ago. It took over two weeks to receive an email acknowledgement that AXA received the claim, and they warned in the email that they had a huge backlog of claims to process. So I have no idea when I will hear from them, but they have already missed the 30 day service promise stated in the policy.

The claim form and supporting documentation required was clearly stated and easy to complete. My claim was paid in full and in accordance with the coverage I purchased. My only disappointment was that it took them two months to process the claim and send payment, whereas the policy said their goal is to process claims within 30 days.

I filed a claim over one month ago and with 5 e-mails, NOT one replied from the company, except an automated email back to me from the company.
While I was in hospital, calls and emails from myself and my wife were repeatedly ignored. Hours upon hours, many fold, were spent trying to get AXA to reply and simply respond. AXA were incapable of dialing an international number. I had to pay long distance to contact them. It took a week to get them to arrange medical transportation home, and gave my wife incorrect information about her eligibility to travel to France to accompany me home. In the last hours, they decided to cancel my medical flight arrangements home and instead provide me with no assistance. Calls and emails to them at that time and in the months since go unanswered and unreturned. I had to resort to purchasing a one-way business class ticket myself to provide myself as much comfort as possible.
In the event my claims go denied, I will contact Nationwide Insurance before filing an Ohio Insurance Claim against the company as well as seeking potential legal advice.
Online uploading system doesn’t work. Filed claim a month ago. There has been no communication. Claim is still not paid.
Difficult to get through to AXA on phone calls.
