My trip was postponed and thank you for letting me transfer my current policy to another trip.
I unfortunately had to call to inquire about filing a claim as my hotel room was robbed on my trip. Everyone I had spoken to on my call was very empathic, kind, and helpful thus far. I felt heard, listened to, respected, and helped. The email with claims instructions was easy to follow. So far so good. I now await the claims process and follow-up.
I started a claim sometime at the end of May (I believe the 27th) and the claim has still not been processed, even though it is only supposed to take “15 business days”.

I’ve been waiting for an update on my claim for the past few months and everytime I try to contact the company via email I don’t receive a response. Every phone contact is met with promises that they’re “getting there” which is honestly unacceptable and I will never be using this company’s services again.
It was easy to search for policies and compare them. I bought a policy. I later found I needed to extend the timeframe for the policy by one day due to a change in flights by the airlines. I contacted AXA and made that change readily and easily.
The trip went smoothly so I have no reason to file a claim.
A comment -- one of your questions is about my experience with AXA Assistance during my trip. I had no contacts with AXA assistance during my trip, so I looked for the answer "does not apply" but it was not an option. Since my "experience" was neither great (5 stars) or terrible (1 star), I chose three stars. But I really wanted to say I had no contact with AXS. Please add the "no contact" or "does not apply" option!!
Our trip was rescheduled and a quick call to AXA rescheduled the insurance coverage. No problems and no hassles.

We did not make our trip as the cruise was cancelled and rebooked for new dates. AXA did change the dates for the new cruise and we are very happy with AXA service. Jack Good
