The site was a little difficult for me to navigate resulting in several questions. I contacted the assistance staff and they were very helpful = one in particular walked me through the steps which were confusing to me. Very helpful.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our dream cruise due to medical reasons. We recently filed a claim. AXA has been wonderful throughout this process, always helpful and kind when I call with questions. We haven’t received our refund yet, but I feel assured that it will come. I will choose AXA again in the future.
I changed the length of my trip. I shortened the length of my trip and was unable to make any adjustment to the policy. I wish they could have done that but once it is actually isseed, the policy can't be changed. It was ok, and I learned how it works. I love working through Squaremouth and have recommended it to many others.
We purchased a CFAR policy for an expensive trip to Africa. We needed to cancel before departure due to my father's declining health. The claims process was very straightforward. We reached out to AXA informing them of our intent to travel. A claim form was sent by email. We opted to handle all communications by email. We completed the packet of information requested - itineraries, receipts, and in our case, authorization for medical records. We submitted the documentation by email and received a confirmation of receipt the next business day, with a note stating the claim would be handled in 30 days. Exactly 30 days later we received a check in the mail for 100% of our unreimbursed trip costs. There was no foot dragging or numerous requests for additional information. We are completely whole for the expenses of this trip and the process could not have been simpler. We would not hesitate to use AXA again in the future.
