Though I was fortunate because I did not have to use my travel insurance it made me feel much safer traveling to foreign countries because I did not have to worry about medical bills, missed connections, lost luggage, trip cancellations etc. I will use Squaremouth again for my next trip.

I find working with your insurance easy. I was given great assistance because I was not sure how to insure myself.

We were confused as to the charge on our credit card because it didn't indicate it was an insurance company. It was showing some places Europe. We questioned the charge with our credit card company, and they went ahead and froze the payment. AXA then sent us a letter saying our policy was cancelled. We called them to tell them that we were only try to understand the charge on our statement. We said we now understood, and would like to reinstate. They said we would have to go through the process of ordering it again. When we went to your website we found a better deal, so we went with the other company. This whole process took us hours and hours on the phone to our credit card company, to your website, and AXA. To remedy the situation I think it would be beneficial for AXA to indicate who they are when it is entered on the credit card statement!

First contact on filing a claim , it seemed the only motive the individual had was to dissuade me from filing a claim, how about some empathy after being attacked and robbed , barely able to leave the country which was in a state of emergency, honestly, you want me to remain behind to get a police report? Then reciting the policy fine print totally unsympathetic. Sorry AXA, your intake folks need some sensitivity training. I doubt I will be purchasing trip cancellation again, it is a total waste of money ,unless you drop dead before the trip. Now I wait for 30 days for the claim adjuster to reject the claim reciting some other reason, boy, have they got you screwed ,you just can't win !! I wonder what the over all percentage of successful claims made is ?

I was happy with the insurance that was provided. during the trip I had wonderful weather and excellent health and not accidents so I am grateful all went well.
I wanted a paper copy and it took several phone calls to get it. Staff were pleasant.
