There was an enormous amount of paperwork requiring information from my doctor that I thought was unnecessary. I already had a statement from him that I was unable to travel and it seems to me that should be sufficient. Extensive information about my state of health is an invasion of my privacy. However, once all the necessary paperwork was filed, my claim was recognized and I was reimbursed without further information.
I will not choose AXA in the future for coverage. I had to add to my coverage as I added trips and costs. Every time I had a problem. The amounts weren't changed properly, the dates were messed up. I requested a final declaration page at least 3 or 4 times before I finally got one. I am very glad I did not have to file a claim. I was very concerned there would be a problem with it.

the on-line purchase was good. then I noticed I somehow had the wrong start date. I called the customer line, no problem. then I e-mailed the request for a start date change, ok, then I e-mailed the trip itinerary. ok, then a week later they said everything was good and the start date was revised. they suposidly sent me the revised paperwork. But it looked the same to me, same incorrect start date. it took at least 3 try,s before they sent me a reviesed form with the correct start date. not sure if it was incompetence or just a mistake, but 3 times sending the old form and saying the changed the dates. very disturbling

I have provided AXA all required paperwork for a minor claim by fax and have received no reply or acknowledgement as yet. It has been only four days since the claim was filed; nonetheless, they should have sent an acknowledgement of receipt.

My claim request was handled by two of my adult children and for the life of me I don't know which one did what regards my claim. One child lives in Amsterdam and one in Tucson. I did not hear them complain of anything untoward happening in the process of obtaining monies expended for my flights from Tucson to L.. A.. to Glasgow, Scotland via Amsterdam. The amount of out-of-pocket spent for insurance was minimal primarily health coverage) as my first class ticket from L.A. to Amsterdam was done with air miles given to me by a son-in-law. I would certainly use your services again HOWEVER travel is no longer an option for me. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is a train.
